Ridiculous!!!! Atrocious!!!

Went to the ER after I felt I was getting a heart attack. They took me in and kept me in some shitty holding area from nearly six hours before a doctor saw me. The holding place was creepy, dirty, and smelled awful. I was not able to sleep properly. This room has only six beds and two nurses to look after them. Still felt much ignored. Midnight, I wanted to pee, went to the bathroom and came back without urinating. The bathroom was dirty, and it seemed there was a party going on there. Finally, God answered my prayers, and the doctor saw me. My doubts were cleared. It was not a heart attack but a muscle pull, which was pretty rare. Strangely, the doctor seemed shady and told me that he could get my medications for half the price. Not being the one to fall for discounts, I said thanks, but no thanks. Called up my pharmacy and got the meds. Won’t come back again.

My wife was rushed to this ER two months back after sustaining a pretty bad fall. She was attended to very quickly by the emergency staff. The duty doctor was professional and knowledgeable and treated my wife as quickly as possible to ensure that she becomes pain-free ASAP. The doctor also gave insightful advice for selecting the best doctor for following up. Our ER visit lasted two hours, which included check-in, imaging, examination, as well as treatment plans and check out.

A little secret: Orange Coast Memorial Hospital offers complimentary valet parking. This is very helpful because one would not want to hover around for finding a parking spot while you or your loved one is ill.

This hospital is filled with very helpful doctors. I was referred to Orange Coast Memorial Hospital by my doctor for a CT scan. I was very concerned about the barium which I needed to drink before undergoing the procedure. I called in the radiology department and informed them about my worries about barium. They listened very patiently and informed that they would give a callback. They sure did. A wonderful doctor called me and asked me about my concerns and explained the entire process in great detail. With all my concerns addressed, I went ahead with the scan, which thankfully turned out negative.
