Must have been the quickest ER visit of my life. I went to the emergency room yesterday. Reached the ER at 11:35 am and was called in in 15 minutes. X-ray was ordered and taken and the result read by the nurse by 12:20 pm. Diagnosis made, and appropriate meds were given. I was out of the hospital by 12:45 pm. It was superfast when you compare it to some of the so-called best providers of healthcare. Moreover, every single staff member whom I encountered was professional, efficient and cared for my wellbeing.

Great Hospital and outstanding staff!!!!

I had to, unfortunately, visit this hospital due to a DIY accident. I was ushered in quickly and triaged within 10 minutes. After a wait of 10 minutes, I was taken back to the room, where a PA came and assessed my injuries. He ordered stitches, gave a tetanus shot, wrote appropriate meds, and I was on my way. The whole visit might have lasted for nearly an hour. The parting shot by the PA made my day – “Take it easy for some days, Superhero. The world needs you.”

Pathetic doctors who do not deserve to be in this profession. I had rushed to the ER with my son after he started having spiking fever and was getting very restless. These idiots made me wait for nearly two hours before even taking the vitals. His temp when the doctor saw him was 104.1 (was 103.7 when we came). What does the doctor do – just order Motrin and ask me to apply some cold compresses. He did not think it was necessary to find the source of the fever.

We went home, and when the fever did not subside, and he developed complex seizures, I rushed him to NY Presbyterian where they started immediate care and also found out the source of the fever – middle ear infection. Thanks to the excellent doctors at NY Presbyterian, Shane is doing well.

I will never step into this shithole again and also inform my friends and family to avoid this hospital. For any needs, I will go to NY Presbyterian!!!
