I was referred to Novato Community Hospital by my PCP for an x-ray of my leg and bloodwork. I called up NCH and also drove down and inquired if they would take my insurances. They said, no problem. I go there, and while getting myself registered, the lady says that they will accept only one insurance and the second one would not be considered. How could they do that to me? This could have been told to me earlier when I came the first time. Interestingly, the person who said it would be accepted was nowhere to be seen.

I contacted my PCP and got my tests done at another hospital. Won’t be stepping foot again at this place.

These bubbleheads did not offer me protective gear while taking an x-ray of my hand. However, they ran away when they took it. I am not an idiot to not know that everywhere else you are provided protective padding. They say it does not matter since it is your hand. If it is so, then why did these bubbleheads run away when the x-rays were being taken? Not sure I would continue seeking care here.

Whether a facility is new or old, what is important is that one should have very professional and experienced staff who can handle everything. Despite Novato Community Hospital being a new facility, it certainly has that type of staff. The staff is competent and supportive, right from the medical team to other support services to food service. I was very impressed with the caseworker, who while being knowledgeable, also had the minimum courtesy to answer a call or return calls in a timely fashion

Excellent service. The ER team at NCH is great. There was hardly any wait time. The nurses and doctors had great bedside manners. The doctor did not rush me and had that little extra time to hear me out. He diagnosed me appropriately and started treatment for it. Very pleased with the wonderful service I got at this place. Won’t hesitate to return

The great hospital experience. NCH treats its patients with dignity and respect. I took my grandpa there, and they were great with him. They cracked jokes and had a good laugh, but also took great care of him. Ultimate respect
