Norwegian American Hospital is a great hospital. My brother had a slip-and-fall and got a deep gash on his left eyebrow. When I reached the hospital, I thought he had gone for a match with Manny Pacquaio and had got one on his eye. It was black and blue, bleeding, and swollen shut. The staff was very caring and got down to the task very quickly. The wound was cleaned, stitches were applied, a shot was given, a scan is taken to rule out any internal injuries, and we were on our way. Very satisfied with the service Chris got here.

Worst customer service ever!!!! It took nearly two hours to register my wife with orthopedics despite us reaching approximately 30 minutes earlier. The office opens at noon and it is now 3:00 and we are still waiting our turn. I do not know WTF is this. If I had known this is what was going to happen, then I would have taken my wife elsewhere. Will wait for another 30 minutes and then off we go…

The most horrible ER nurse that I have encountered. She does not feel ashamed of shouting down elderly patients, children, and others in general. It did not bother her if it was embarrassing them. The doctor, on the other hand, was a gentleman and provided excellent care. But facing the nurse was enough for many members to walk off. The worst part, she has got no remorse about it.

A long-overdue review. I was at this hospital on the 10th of January 2019 for a cast after a fall messed up my ankle. Frankie made my day. I visited the place at 9:00 am and was out by noon. My ankle was scanned, and no significant breaks were seen. However, I ended up needing a cast, and Frankie ensured that this was done ASAP. By noon, I was walking out of the hospital. The quickest ER visit ever.

It was in June, and I was having a problem with breastfeeding my newborn. I ended up calling Norma, who was the lactation nurse. She asked me to come down. I spent some time with her. An AMAZING lady. She advised me on how to get it right and specific tips to avoid a recurrence. This session required patience and a hands-on approach. She was very friendly and did not have a problem with answering questions. I left the hospital very satisfied.

I have come across a lot of feedback which disses this hospital for different reasons. I want to share my experience and then let others decide if they're going to lean towards negative or positive feedbacks. My family had shifted from California, and we were very new, and unfortunately, I was between insurances. My wife fell grievously sick, and no hospital was willing to take her in. Norwegian American Hospital was the last hospital we reached, and they gladly took us in. No questions asked.

My wife had suffered from food poisoning and need to stay in the ICU for nearly three days and then a step-down ICU for another two days. The nurses and doctors did not discriminate us as we were new to this place. They provided the best possible care. Thanks to them, Rox is back with me again. I have visited this hospital ever since for all my medical needs.
