Northwest Medical Center in Springdale is the last place one should take their elderly. They do not offer satisfactory treatment to the elderly. I had brought my grandpa here after he complained of uneasiness and the staff just did not bother to treat him properly. They simply rushed through the care. They did not bother to ask if he was okay. He was provided a script for OTC meds.

Pathetic!!!! I took my grandpa to a nearby hospital where they offered fantastic care. I won’t bring him back here — sheer waste of time and money.

I had an attack of Bell’s palsy and was rushed to the nearest ER by my wife, and it turned out to be Northwest Medical Center. It was the right decision. The staff got down to treating me immediately. They conducted various tests including one to rule out stroke. These angels took excellent care of me. Holy Lord forgive me, I am not able to remember the doctor’s name, but he was a gem. He brought all his experience into play. Their efforts helped me in getting cured very quickly.

They did take good care of my wife. Yes, there are a couple of kinkers, who are the biggest impediments in the growth of this hospital, but luckily, these are very few, almost negligible. The rest are very caring, courteous, friendly, and very professional. They kept me updated continuously regarding Betsy’s status. While being discharged, they also told Betsy various tips that would help her in not having a recurrence. I highly recommend them.

We had a horrid time here. I had taken my husband to this ER after he developed back pain doing some heavy lifting. While we knew that the cost would be more than your regular walk-in clinic, never thought it would be so high. We got to see the doctor, and he asked Jack to apply some warm compresses and apply ICY HOT. The total time for the evaluation was five minutes. No imaging was ordered.

For this, the hospital charged us around $4,500, $1,800 after insurance. We had thought of leaving without seeing the doctor when the wait was getting too long but dropped that idea after we were told that we would still be charged.

Be very careful when you are dealing with this hospital.
