The staff at Northern Dutchess Hospital is very judgmental. For them, every person who comes with a hood on and seeks pain meds is a junkie.

I was having a high temperature and feeling very cold, so got a hood on and then visited the hospital seeking treatment. I also was struggling with severe backache and wanted something for it. The receptionist was a nice lady and got everything done very quickly. I was taken to the ER by the receptionist, where I met one of the rudest nurses ever. He told me to remove the hood. I told him, I am feeling cold, but he would have nothing.

After waiting for nearly two hours, I was taken back. After a 10 minute wait, a very grumpy and angry doctor comes, and the first thing he blurts out is “I do not give pain meds to everyone just like that.”

The care was shitty, and I was discharged with nothing for pain and fever. I had to visit another hospital for care.

After the shabby treatment, I do not think I would step back in my lifetime!!!!

It was not the perfect hospital experience…there were some unexpected blips during the short stay here, but then these were addressed very well. The doctors and nurses were not of the chatty type, at least with me, but then they do know how to give the best care possible. They diagnosed me very quickly, and appropriate treatment was started. Thanks to these wonderful folks, I was back to my baseline quickly

This is a visitor’s review.

I had come here to visit my friend, who was seeking treatment here. My friend was under the care of a sweetheart doctor. He was amazing, very thorough and right on the money. I have a medical background, so I know the care which was provided to my friend was the best that one could offer. The doctor and nurses were very professional and did not hesitate to answer any question that my friend had.

Looking at the beaming smile on my friend’s face, I can only say that she got the best care. Thanks, folks, for taking good care of my friend.

Outstanding hospital. I have sought their services quite a few times, and I have always been treated well. The hospital is run by some highly efficient staff who know what they are doing. They are caring, compassionate, friendly, highly knowledgeable, and very friendly. The hospital itself is very welcoming, clean, quiet, and has some beautiful décor. Kudos to the entire staff for running a fantastic show
