Terrible!!!!!!! Absolute breakdown of communication…

Two weeks back, my wife had gone to the emergency department for a stomachache, and they ended up admitting her. It seemed okay at first, but as the day passed on, we started getting restless because these fellas never told why in the first place was she being admitted. There was no clue among nurses, and the doctor who admitted here did not pass any orders either for tests or observation…Nothing.

As day 2 started, I finally decided to catch the doctor and ask him….turns out the fellow himself was sick and had taken a few days off from work.

He could have at least called up and informed the nurses about my wife, and what was supposed to done…..conversely, nurses also could have called up…neither did and my wife spent two days in the hospital for nothing….

Needless to say, we left AMA with a promise never to step in again

Two days backs, I underwent a CT scan with contrast. The people whom I interacted with were fantastic. The guy in registration, the lady in insurance, and the admitting nurse were great to work with. The tech in Radiology was also a great person and made every single effort to ensure that I was comfortable during the procedure.

Coming to the hospital, it is very clean. The facility also boasts of little garden area, which was a nice touch. I do not stay in the neighborhood but still came here because the charges for CT scan here is very less compared to my local hospital.

Very pleased with the way the entire team went ahead with the process. Would not hesitate to come here for any procedure

I was here twice, once five years ago and the second time, three weeks back. I have to admit that this hospital has seen a huge transformation. There is a marked difference between the staff then and now. The present staff is knowledgeable. They are more helpful and friendlier. Compared to the previous visit, this visit has been exceptional for me. Even doctors also very friendly. Unlike in the past, they are more compassionate and do not hesitate to explain things to the patients.

In case you have stopped visiting this hospital due to past experiences, then would urge to reconsider and visit once again. You would be pleasantly surprised with the transformation

Newport Medical Center is my family’s go-to hospital. If there is any medical issue in my family and even the extended family, then this is where we go. We have been coming here since the last decade and have seen how the facility has developed. The medical team is polite, fast, and knowledgeable. Even the billing department has pulled up its socks…so one can say this has become a whole package.

These wonderful people have not given us any reason why we should shift our care to any other hospital, and we do not intend to do so anytime soon unless fate decides otherwise
