The biggest problem that Newport Hospital has is its ER and the staff that runs the show. They are rude, condescending, and talk you down. Unless you're on your deathbed, avoid visiting the place; since all you would be doing here is sitting for hours to see the doctor. Be it any severe injury or a minor finger cut, the wait time is minimum of three hours and counting. I had a deep gash on my hand and had lost a lot of blood and was feeling woozy. My wife told the nurse about my condition, and she was shouted down. It was only after I passed out did these idiots deem it necessary to see me!

Pathetic!!!! Disgusting!!!!

Broke my ankle this past Wednesday and this being the closest emergency room, I was rushed here. The ER team did not waste any time in starting the treatment. This was not a clean break and did require some manipulation for which services of an anesthesiologist was sought. Even though I spent nearly six hours here, I did not feel having spent so many hours since everything moved quickly. The doctors and nurses were wonderful, caring, very informative, and ensured that I understood what has happened and what has been done. The best care that I could have got at that time...

I had visited Newport Hosptial ER with a friend who was vomiting non-stop for the past six hours. He was taken in right away, and the doctor was beside him within minutes. She was a wonderful lady and had excellent bedside manners and made sure that Jeff was comfortable during the time he was there. She treated him exceptionally well. A fantastic facility and fantastic staff. Definitely recommended.

Jeff had an overnight stay and was discharged the next day morning

This hospital took outstanding care of my uncle during his final days. The staff was terrific and made it a point to ensure that he was cheerful. They took care of his pain and made sure that he was pain-free and comfortable during his final days. He passed away peacefully in his sleep.

My family really appreciates the efforts put in by this hospital and its staff to make sure that Uncle Ben was comfortable during his last few days
