New Ulm Medical Center is an excellent healthcare facility. To have such an exceptional facility in a rural community is wonderful. The staff out here do not treat the patients like a number. For them, every patient is like a family member. They provide exceptional care to all the patients. At least, they have been good to my family and me. I would continue seeking care here. Highly recommend!

This hospital has been my family’s go-to hospital for the past few years. Be it a major medical issue or a minor one, we know only one place to visit – New Ulm Medical Center. We have utilized many of their services and have received exceptional service every single time. So proud to have such an institution in our neighborhood

I have had good experiences here, but things went downhill during the last visit. My husband was having a severe toothache and slight swelling in his throat.

We reach the ER and after a considerably long wait, Don is taken back to the room where he met one of the lousiest doctors ever. The doctor did not evaluate him, gave a painkiller and sent him on his way. He did not even hear Don’s complaints. As we feared, his condition worsened, and by the end of the fourth day, he was burning with fever.

We rushed him to another ER, where they stabilized him and diagnosed tooth abscess as the root cause of his problem. The ER doctor also got an appointment with a dentist fixed for the next day. The dentist thoroughly evaluated Don and provided appropriate treatment and antibiotics and medication, which should have been given by the ER doctor in the New Ulm Medical Center in the first place.

VERY disappointed with the service we got here!!!!!

I had an awful experience while I was here. The ER nurse and doctor were least bothered about providing care and more interested in getting the numbers completed. My care was rushed through, and I got some antacids for my stomach ache. When things did not subside after using antacids, I had to visit another hospital where I was diagnosed with kidney stones…

So much for antacids

New Ulm Medical Center is not just a hospital. It is an institution that not only offers excellent medical care but also is a fantastic place to work. My sister worked here, and she has not stopped singing paeans about this place.

For the staff at this institution, you are more than a number. You are like a family member. My family and I would not even think of going somewhere else for medical care
