Monroe is one helluva hospital. These guys seriously rock, and rock in every sense of the word.

My husband had to be taken to the ER a few nights back after he fell and broke his hand. These folks quickly and promptly started the treatment. Everything moved in a smooth fashion, and we were out of the hospital in less than three hours.

The hospital is clean and has positive and welcoming vibes, which reflects on the staff, every one of whom had a warm and pleasant smile and was ready to help. The tech was also a wonderful person. All in all, very pleased and highly impressed with the way they treated Rick

Worst hospital around! Monroe Hospital should be shuttered!!! Period!!!

The staff lack manners and are least bothered about the patients and their privacy. The care provided is also sloppy. I could hear the nurses talking very openly about other patients…. I think they have not heard about HIPAA.

I had gone with severe pain in the leg and was unable to keep it down. The doctor ordered an x-ray and missed a fracture on the ankle. It was the radiologist who caught it. The doctor was least bothered and did not show any concern about missing the fracture. All she did was give some pain meds and an ace wrap…no cast.

I had to visit another hospital down the road to get proper treatment

Took my son to the ER after his fever started spiking and developed runny nose and cough. He felt very stuffy and was very irritated with the whole thing.

The nurse who took us in was very friendly and knew how to treat a fussy toddler. He played with my son and put him at ease. We waited for nearly an hour, after which we were taken back to the room. An excellent doctor joined us within a matter of few minutes. She was wonderful and had excellent bedside manners. She ordered few tests, diagnosed the reason for the fever, explained the results and wrote necessary medicines.

The whole visit lasted less than three hours. We are very grateful to the nurses and the doctor who provided excellent care. Thank you!!!

The best hospital experience that I could have ever had. My sister was brought in a critical condition over Easter. The staff was very friendly and professional. They provided excellent care, and by the end of the week, my sister was able to walk on her own and after a fortnight, was back to her baseline. Thank you, Monroe Hospital, for saving my sister’s life.

The care is good, and the doctors and nurses are excellent. However, what ruins the whole experience is one of the most pathetic billing department that one can come across. I was given a bill of $1500 for a flu test…$1500!!!! When I went to talk with them about this bill, they would not hear anything and insisted I pay the bill. I had to opt for a payment plan to pay this ridiculous amount…Shifting my care to IU health
