I have visited the Methodist Stone Oak Hospital numerous times, and my experience was great each time. The staff is knowledgeable, knows their business and does it in a highly professional manner. I underwent colon surgery and had to spend a few days here, my wife had hernia surgery and again spent a few days here. Both the times, the staff took excellent care of us. Three days back, I came here with irregular heartbeats, and I was immediately attended to by the wonderful, competent staff. Thanks, Methodist Stone Oak Hospital for the wonderful care.

I have a bit of history here. When I had come here a few years back, I was treated very badly, and I had decided that I would never step my foot again at this place. So imagine my predicament when I had to visit this place after an accident. However, I was in for a pleasant surprise. The hospital was spic and clean. The staff was very helpful and polite. The nurses, as well as tech staff, were superb. The doctors were also good. All in all, a wonderful change.

My review is not for the treatment, but it is for the Wi-Fi facility. I had used the Wi-Fi here and got a shock of my life when I realized that I was hacked. My credit card was hacked, and the hacker tried to buy stuff worth $1450 at Walmart!! Thanks to the extra layer of security that the card offered, I was saved.

I usually do not give any reviews about anything, since I feel that the experience I had might not be the same for everybody, but I would like to make an exception this time. It was due to my experience with the Methodist Customer Service that I decided to make an exception. I went to the hospital on the weekend and got images done. I needed a copy of the reports for a follow-up appointment with my doctor the next day. To check the status, I called the number that was given and almost immediately I was put in the queue. I waited a while for a real human to pick up the phone.

While waiting, I drove down to the ER, spoke to the receptionist, who not only took all the necessary information but also got the radiology department to produce a CD that contained my images. All this while, I stayed on the phone hoping that someone would pick it up. Nobody ever picked it. The phone call lasted for nearly 50 minutes. I would request Methodist to take the money that they get from patients and at least update their systems.

This hospital offers outstanding care. The ER was choc-a-bloc with patients, there was a lot of waiting time and tempers flew, but despite all this, the nurses and docs maintained their calm and talked with poise and always had a smile. Everything about this hospital was great, but the same cannot be said about the food.
