I find it amusing that the billing department of the hospital plays a big role in destroying the reputation of the hospital. The billing department at Methodist Charlton Medical Center is no different. I underwent surgery here, and the billing department keeps harassing me for the deductible payment, which I paid before the surgery. I paid $3000.00 deductible to the hospital instead of paying it directly to the doctor. Big Mistake. The billing department took eons to submit the bill. Now two months later. I am still struggling to get them to refund me. The person manning the department think that it is his money. My whole “medical” experience was great. The staff and doctors were great and took good care of me. I was thrilled with the service, but the a*&^%$e in the billing department has destroyed the whole experience. Hoping that I would get money at least during this birth.

Methodist Charlton Medical Center is one of the worst hospitals in the area. I took my son there after he had a nasty fall and cut his leg very badly. We did first aid and rushed him to this ER. We were taken in immediately but then made to wait for nearly five hours for the doctor to come. They did not even take any vitals. The whole attitude of the hospital staff was very disturbing. They were snappy and rude. One nurse even shouted at me asking me to shut my son’s mouth as his cries were disturbing them. I gave it back in equal measure. Deplorable. Needless to say, left AMA and took him to another hospital where they took care of him almost immediately. He also had to receive two units of blood for the loss that happened during the wait at the fu*&^%g hospital. Highly incompetent staff. Should be shuttered. Stay Away!!!!

My dad had a lung infection which had become severe. He developed wheezing and had to be admitted through the ER to the floor. The staff was very courteous and took excellent care of my elderly dad. We stayed for nearly three weeks and those days were spent with a prayer on my lips. The staff was very nice. The nurses and doctor not only made sure that he was comfortable but also ensured that I was comfortable. They always kept me in the loop. Thank you, Methodist Charlton Medical Center for the care given to my dad

My father-in-law, aged 80, was admitted to Methodist Charlton Medical Center for a few health complications. The staff is professional and sincere about their job. Ever friendly and ready to walk that extra mile to make his stay more comfortable. Elders frequently suffer from unforeseen health complications and my father-in-law was no exception. However, the staff was always ready to fight the illness and improve his situation. I highly recommend this wonderful hospital to anyone. Thank you, guys!!!
