My husband, unfortunately, ended up cutting his finger off in a DIY garage work accident. I rushed him here. The registration was done in a jiffy, and before long, he was taken in and then back to the room after a waiting period of 20 minutes. While waiting, the nurses ensured that prep work for what would be a minor surgery was started. The doctor came and evaluated his injury and ordered a minor surgery to reattach the finger. The surgery was done quickly, and we were on our way home after four hours. Everyone we interacted with during the stay was professional and caring. While I pray and hope that we do not end up revisiting this place, if any medical need arises then, we surely know where to come

While I hate writing reviews, but this incident left such a bad taste in my mouth that I felt I had to tell the public how I was humiliated here. This is not a review against the nurses in the ER. They were a gem and absolutely wonderful. This is a review for a dickhead who calls himself an ER doctor. This bozo comes and asks canned questions. He does not have any paper, so what does he do…writes down the information on a bloody napkin. The idiot was in a rush and did not listen to me and ended up admitting me to the ICU. That I was discharged in a few hours is a different story. The biggest setback was the fact that I had to pay for this disaster. For the mistake of an f*****g dickhead, I have to pay nearly 1000 dollars.

I was mistreated in the ER. The care was virtually non-existent. The ER nurse was in a bad mood when I was there. She was shouting profanities at patients, and most of it was directed towards me. The doctor was also not a good guy and rushed with my evaluation. When I objected to the rushed care, these people called the security and threw me out. I went ahead and gave a written complaint against the ER nurse and doctor. A few days later, I got a call from the management and they sort of apologized. To assuage my feeling, they waived off my bill. The fact that they called and apologized for it shows that these people know what happened was wrong. Despite the call and apologies, I am not sure if I would be returning to this place.

We were driving through when my youngest son started feeling very bad and very uneasy. We stopped at this hospital. So glad that we stopped and sought care here. The ER team was very friendly. They were quick. We were taken in the moment we finished the paperwork. Roger was taken back to the room in less than five minutes. The doctor was an amiable person, and while joking and chatting with Roger, he completed his diagnosis. There was nothing to worry about. Just a minor stomachache due to the constant sitting. The doctor ordered OTC Tums and advised us to take a break every two hours so that his stomach does not cramp up. The time spent in the ER was less than an hour. Very pleased with the care Roger got here.

The staff at Mercy Jefferson are outstanding. The medical team which treated my wife in the ER, ICU and the step-down unit were great. They were friendly, compassionate, caring, very professional, and highly knowledgeable. I am from the healthcare field, and I can definitely say that these guys are the best when it comes to providing compassionate and excellent care. My wife was very happy with the treatment she got. Thank you for taking very good care of my wife.
