Careless and utterly irresponsible staff!! I could not find my wallet in personal belongings after I came back from a test. $500 cash missing. Paramedics had seen the wallet with me when I was getting admitted. However, I could not find wallet when I was getting discharged. Suspect that some of the employees might have stolen it. Will alert the public about what is happening in this hospital on every single social media platform.

Daughter went to Mercy and received great care. The nurses and other staff members were professional, very caring, and attentive. She is quite pleased too. The attentive staff moved my daughter to a quieter room so that she could recuperate better. She had to undergo exhaustive tests to determine the cause of her illness. I'd recommend this wonderful hospital to anyone. The fact that my wife, I and my children were born here does tilt the scales in Mercy’s favor.

Visitor review – this hospital stinks. Yikes. Bathrooms are either very dirty or do not work at all. I informed the front desk staff, and their response was epic – “ours are working.” They did not even have the slightest idea of what the hell was I talking about. Coming to the staff, the less said, the better. The nurses are forgetful. The diet is not restricted. My friend has not seen a dietician till now. The nurse does not remember what medication was my friend on --- we used to be a Mercy family, but have started shifting our care to another hospital.

I visited this hospital on 1- 20- 2019 with numb left arm, chest pain, and blood pressure above 190. I was seen in immediately and got the best treatment possible from every staff member. The doctor and nurses were incredible. I highly recommend Mercy Downtown

My sister was in urgent medical need and the staff at Mercy Downtown answered the call. We are a devout Catholic family and are really happy that we have such a hospital that would help the faithful. Sincere thanks to the staff and the surgeon for doing what was needed to help a cancer-afflicted patient live another day
