This review is for Western Kentucky Kidney Specialists which is located in the Lourdes facility. They are a disgrace to their profession. These idiots do not seem to care about their patients. They have no hurry in scheduling appointments, and certainly, are very lazy to return any phone calls. I called these people nearly ten times over the past four days, all in vain. Each time, I only heard the phone ringing, but nobody took it. Might have been busy once or twice, but all the ten times, I do not think so. They did not even have the courtesy of responding to a message by way of calling back. If they do not have any time for responding to calls, how the hell are they supposed to take care of the patients?

Ours is a Lourdes Family. I mean every single member of my family and my extended family have been at Lourdes at some point or another. My mom went there thrice, once after a minor accident and twice after suffering from heart attacks. To say that the team took good care of her would be an understatement. My dad is a frequent visitor to Lourdes. In fact, Lourdes staff members know us by our first names. We are always treated as if we are a part of the Lourdes family. I will always be grateful to them for providing exceptional professional care every single time we are in the hospital, be it the ER or any other department. They also take the effort to call us and check our progress even after we are discharged from the hospital. No hesitation in saying that Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital is the best in town. One will not be disappointed if they seek care at this wonderful hospital.

Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital is the best hospital in the town, and this is only possible due to the amazing and caring staff, especially the ICU department. These angels saved my mother’s life. Not only did the staff take great care of her, but they also ensured that we were also made as comfortable as possible. They always kept us in the loop. I would say that at no point did they give a feeling that my mother or we were a burden on them. I applaud Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital on their cleanliness and the staff on their sincerity and professionalism. Thanks from our end!!!!

I was transferring my care from the old OB/GYN to Lourdes and met Meghan in this regard. I received a warm welcome from her and all my answers, even the silly ones were answered with a smile. Since I was transferring care, the team was able to pick up from where my old doctor had left. The surroundings were welcoming, and I realized very quickly that I was in very good hands. I also was able to meet Amanda Wagner. I must say she is just like what others told about her. I am really glad that I made the switch. Amanda is very welcoming and immediately puts you at ease. She heard me out and also gave her vital inputs.

Looking forward to giving birth to my precious at the Lourdes!!!!

My uncle had a nightmarish experience at Lourdes Hospital. It was terrible, and I am sure that I would not send anybody from my family to this hospital. Lourdes ER mistreated him! He had come to the ER with a fractured ankle and was asked to stay overnight due to some unforeseen complications. In the middle of the night, he wanted to use the restroom, but he did not receive any help for nearly an hour. Same case when he asked for water. They did not even serve him breakfast, and my aunt had to bring something from outside. When she inquired about his condition, all she got was “we are working on it.” Excepted little more empathy from them.

My father recently suffered a massive attack, with 100% blockage in two arteries. The doctors used an Impella to enable the blood to pump through his heart. Within a week, his heart was working at normal capacity. The nurses at Lourdes were very caring and compassionate. The care that my father received from every single person at this hospital was exceptional.

Had a horrendous hospital experience at Mercy Health. I took my 90-year-old mother to Lourdes ER two days back after she complained of severe chest pain. The nursing staff was every horrible and said some disgusting things to her. They were also very incompetent. I could do a better job than they did. However, the doctor was exceptional and treated my mother well. It was the exact opposite of what we endured with the nursing staff.
