Wow the ER at Los Robles was so full it was crazy. Honestly I was just shocked by how many employees still managed to have smiles on their faces; talked to one of the nurses who said she’d been working for 25+ hours because of the flu season. It’s funny how we always just complain about how inefficient they are but never really think about what they have to go through, especially during flu season and stuff. So I give them a 5 star rating because
A)They are located in Thousand Oaks which is literally a 10 minute walk from my apartment- really conveniently located for non residents also who have to travel you won’t have difficulty placing it.

B)Good, able staff members who never take out their frustration on patients (I’ve had a few of those and they were miserable. Thankfully this side of Cali is more passionate about patients and their health care.

C)The rooms, waiting area, doctor’s lounge, everything is spotless. It almost feels scary how clean it is.

Service at Los Robles is great! Was only here for a short time had a small surgery but all staff members were extremely sweet and cooperative. They are specialized in making nervous patients feel calm- Lord knows I needed their help haha. But overall impressed with the service.

If you compare Los Robles Regional to other hospitals nearby it’s good but if you compare it with actual good hospitals outside the state it falls short. My daughter was just diagnosed with cancer two months ago and we’ve had a lot of work pressure and recently moved here. It was really hard at first to find a place with the kind of doctor that we like.

Even though we are not crazy about the service here one thing we can always rely on is the emergency room and ambulance service at Los Robles. No matter what the time of day they are always at your beck and call, ensuring nothing comes above your daughter’s life – and for a parent isn’t that all? Of course when it comes to factors like cleanliness or spacious, comfortable rooms that fit your budget there’s not a palce in California that would be good enough but we make do. The important thing is that she gets treated on time covered by whatever insurance we have and we are hoping for a miracle.

Small note about the doctors: they are very caring and gel well with the patients, even if they are young like my daughter. She gets very anxious and nervous around new people but she did just fine with the doctors and nurses here on the first day. But that said they should be more punctual- if the appointment is at 3 pm then please come by 2:55 it’s not nice making anxious parents wait for 1+ hours. just a suggestion.

Maintanence and housekeeping members: you guys do a good job in keeping the patient’s rooms neat and clean. Once a day they empty out the trash also, done efficiently and the staff members are kind and polite to patients and their families. They deserve the appreciation they don’t get from anyone else so thank you from the Syed family.

They have really upped their game since the last time I was here, especially their parking. Valet parking and so you’re not spending half your time there worrying about your car getting towed. Friendly people working here so you don’t have to worry if you’re frazzled and need help as simple as getting directions. You walk in, get your paperwork done and before I knew it it was my turn.

If you’re black don’t bother going to this f**king hospital they are so racist I felt like it was the 50s dear god help me I would do anything but come back to this shit hole. The triage person made sure I waited an extra 45 minutes even though I made an appointment weeks ago just to screw with me.

5 other patients and their families came in after me and even though I inquired she pretended like she didn’t hear me. I hate racist people but its’ a different thing when they mess with you on purpose. When Igot to the doctor I complained to her about the triage person and they said they were already looking for a replacement she’s temporary but I’m sorry you shouldn’t let employees like that ruin the whole vibe of the hospital .

For that alone I gave a bad rating, bad hospital that doesn’t care about patients. Racist af and they overcharge you my bill was $800 just for checking my vitals and telling me I needed to sleep. They will rip you off shamelessly and treat you like garbage. Don’t go.

The most important part of any surgery is the preparation. I’ve had 6 surgeries within the past 2 years so I decide how good a hospital is or isn’t basis that. Los Robles Regional really impressed me with their surgery prep. Grea!
