Lock Haven Hospital is a shithole. I would even call it a waste of space. I went to the ER; was taken in and then waited for nearly two hours before being called in. There I waited for an hour for the doctor to arrive. The doctor saw me and ordered an x-ray. I get the x-rays and end up waiting more, this time for another two hours. The nurse comes and gives some pain pill to tide over the pain. The doctor is very busy to come and see the x-ray result.

Long story short, I waited for nearly six hours for getting a prescription of OTC Tylenol. Sheer waste of time and insurance money. To all those who plan to seek care here, unless you are on your deathbed, do not come here

I am satisfied with the care that I got here. I had to visit the ER after a stomach pain became unbearable. I was taken in very quickly and after a reasonable wait time was seen by the doctor. The doctor was a gentleman and had excellent bedside manners. He ordered a blood test, and once it came back negative, he made the appropriate diagnosis and gave a proper treatment plan. Thanks to him, I am free of my ailment. Won’t think twice before coming here if any need arises

This is an outsider’s review. I had come to see my friend who was admitted to the ER with severe dehydration after non-stop puking. The staff treated him with respect. They did not have an attitude and were friendly and jovial. That does not mean that they were incompetent. They were highly knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. My friend seemed very satisfied with the care he was getting. The hospital premises was also clean, at least the places that I visited. Not a bad place to seek care

A big shout out to the wonderful tech who took my x-ray. I was ordered to get an x-ray of my knee, but I was unable to lift and place my knee due to pain. The tech was very helpful and placed pillows underneath my knee to make it comfortable. He ensured that I did not face any further problems and took very good images. I am pleased with the concern he showed for me.
