This review is only for the Ophthalmology department. The ophthalmology staff has impressed me so much that I have decided to make this department my first port of call whenever I have any eye-related issue. The staff and the doctors are caring and exceptionally knowledgeable. They have patient care as their utmost priority. There is no patient patronizing or pandering. Truly exceptional hospital. I highly recommend it.

How much time should a patient wait if they have a blood test and wait for the results? Well, not more than an hour at tops. But when it comes to Legacy Emanuel, the wait might stretch to nearly six to seven hours. I was told that the results would be given within half-an-hour and the half-an-hour stretched to nearly seven hours. The nurse was very rude to me when I went and asked him the reason for the delay. He got very angry and started shouting profanities. Having had enough of the wait, I gave it back in equal measure, and it sure had the desired effect. I got the result in “half-an-hour.” The nurses at Legacy Emanuel are jerks who are a complete misfit in this profession. Stay away from this useless hospital.

I was on vacation here. I ended up injuring myself and had to visit this ER. The staff and the doctors were very friendly and saw me almost immediately. There were few people in front of me, but they were seen very quickly. The staff was very kind. The doctor was friendly and cracked a few jokes to break the tension. They treated my wound very professionally. I must admit that I have never received such wonderful care during my entire life, and I am 60 now. Great hospital!
