The ER team at Lakewood Ranch Hospital walked the extra mile to help me a few nights back. I was down with a waxing and waning fever which showed no signs of abating. The night I visited the ER, I had a very high fever, and I was becoming delirious. They ran every test that could have determined my fever. They were also very compassionate. I would always prefer to visit Lakewood Ranch over other hospitals

ER was quick…too quick for my comfort. My 11 MO son was sick and throwing up. One could also hear somewhat muffled breath sounds. The ER staff was not concerned and sent us home. No x-rays, no scans nothing. I had to take him to Sarasota Memorial where he was tested positive for a lung infection and slight pneumonia. I would not return to this worthless hospital.

The maternity ward at Lakewood Ranch Hospital is excellent. The nursing staff and doctors were outstanding. They ensured that my wife did not have to face any problem while giving birth. The only minor hiccup was the billing department. But then the attitude of the billing staff was excellent. They readily admitted to any mistake that we spotted in the bill. This was a refreshing change. Overall, I had a good experience at the Lakewood Ranch Hospital.

Recently went to Lakewood Ranch after being involved in a car accident. The on-call doctor was concerned about a C2 vertebrae fracture and proceeded to admit me immediately. I had wonderful care from everybody. The nurses, the doctor, technicians, etc. were very positive, helpful, and kind. The doctor was personable and took good care of me. The hospital had an uplifting atmosphere. The best ER that I have come across. Fortunately, I did not have a fracture! Highly recommend!
