Kaiser has to rein in one of the internal medicine doctors that they have, Dr. Henry Lin. He does not follow proper etiquette when talking to patients and family members. Simply put, he sucks.

My mother was admitted here for the past few days. The second day he comes and blabbers something and then gives an option which we rejected outright. We asked for seeing the specialist, and he was pissed off. Two days later, he came in the evening. When we asked for a pain doctor because my mother was in pain, he ignored our request and again started blabbering about more patients, fewer beds, etc. When I asked for a pain doctor rather forcefully, he relented and said they would be here soon. The next day morning, he comes and says my mom is fit to be discharged and he would send the discharge papers soon. He did not even listen to us. My mother asked us to get her out of this hospital, as she felt she might not get good care here. Dr. Lin is busy throwing patients out so that new people would come and that means more money. Thanks to this idiot, we had to seek better care at another hospital.

How much time would one spend in an ER which has hardly two or three patients when you walk in? You might say an hour or two at tops. Well, I would say wrong. I was forced to wait for nearly four hours in an ER which had three patients before me. Nobody even came to take my vitals. It was not as if they were very busy with an emergency. They were busy talking with each other and playing games on their phones. I saw two patients leaving after getting frustrated with the wait. I left after another half-hour. Thank God, I am not on Kaiser Insurance, or else I would have been stuck here for ages.

It is a great hospital. It becomes very easy to manage your medical visit if all your doctors are at the same place, and all of them follow the same insurance. I have visited this hospital many times, and every single time, I received exceptional care. No complaints. Thank you.....

I had to undergo surgery and a two-day stay, and I have no complaints. The staff was excellent and took really good care of me. They were welcoming, courteous, ever-smiling, and always positive. Being surrounded by such people may have played a major role in my wound getting healed quickly and me getting on the road to recovery. Thank you Kaiser Permanente Downey for taking such wonderful care of me

Kaiser Pharmacy was super fast. I gave them my script and thought that I could get some rest. Boy, was I wrong? These folks filled my prescription in less than three minutes. I double-checked if they had filled all my meds. They even shred the paperwork which then gets recycled. Very pleased with the pharmacy. I will use this pharmacy again
