Kadlec Regional Medical Center has been and is a great hospital. My family have been admitted here quite a few times, and they have always been taken good care of. The medical staff is outstanding. They ensure that the patients are comfortable during their stay here. It is not just us; I have come across many patients who have said that they are happy with the quality of care that they have got at this hospital. The staff is excellent. They are professional, caring, courteous and very persuasive. I was able to witness firsthand their persuasiveness. I had admitted my uncle here, and he was one of a kind. A Vietnam war vet, he used to get panic attacks whenever he got admitted into a hospital. During one such admission, he was very belligerent and was refusing meds. A very senior nurse came and talked with him, and after spending half-an-hour with her, he was ready for admission and treatment.

Coming to me, the doctors and nurses were very patient with me. I had a “mystery illness.” All the tests had come back negative, but my fever was persistent. The doctors went out of their way to diagnose me and treat me accordingly. Thanks to their persistent efforts, I got cured of my illness. If you want quality healthcare, then this is the place to come.

This hospital is a shithole! My wife had a slip-and-fall and hurt her hand and head very badly. We had to wait for f$%^&ng six hours in a hospital bed in the FREAKING COLD HALLWAY! She was in excruciating pain and was hardly able to walk. But still there was no wheelchair, and a doctor did not come and see her. Only a PA came. I do not have anything against her, but this was something that a doctor or a specialist should have addressed. The PA told to take warm compresses, rest and gave antiinflammatories and painkillers. No CT or MRI scans! It is just awful!!

My father was in severe pain and had to be admitted to the floor for nearly a week. The staff took great care of him. They not only ensured his stay was comfortable but also took good care of me. The staff – unlike their counterparts in Trios in Kennewick – was very compassionate, professional, and knew their way around things. I was fully satisfied with the level of care that my father received at Kadlec. If you are coming to the hospital in an ambulance, make sure that you tell them to bring you here and not to take you to Trios. You won’t regret the trip
