This is the third time that I am using the emergency services of Johnson Memorial Hospital, and like the previous two visits, this visit was also a pleasant experience. The thing that attracts me to this place is the quietness. There is no unnecessary rush or noise; maybe the location is playing a significant role in it. At Johnson Memorial, things move in a very smooth manner.

The staff is super helpful. Very friendly and very professional. I had last visited the ER for fever and severe cough which was not subsiding. The doctor and the nurses were great and provided excellent care. As always, highly impressed with the staff as well as the care provided.

I was shocked by the way a doctor talked to us. I could not get his name or else I would have shamed him publicly.

A close friend was admitted here, and I had come to inquire about his wellbeing. While I was there, a doctor came to check on Jim. I thought I might ask something about his health. A Big Mistake.

I asked just one question, and the doctor snapped. He became annoyed and shouted at me, “You think we are retards. We know how to handle his care, do not poke your nose into things which are of not your interest.” If I say I was shocked, it would be an understatement. I do not know which doctor in 2019 would use words like “retards.” I have relatives who are specially challenged, and I have not heard anybody call them retards. Appalled. I think the doctor should learn manners first and then medicine. This one encounter has made me ditch this hospital permanently

Last week, my friend “kidney stone” woke me up in early morning hours. I had to visit this ER to get pain relief and was out of the ER in less than 90 minutes. The staff was outstanding. They took great care of me. I won't mind using this location if I need emergency care

I have been a regular here, and the hospital has always treated me well. My experiences have always been very pleasant. Both the ER and other departments have treated me well. At no point has the staff or the doctors or any member of the hospital been rude or discourteous to me.

The wait time in the ER is very reasonable, and the care which you get is always exceptional. I won’t think twice about coming to this hospital in case of any emergencies. Highly recommended

I had an awful experience at Johnson Memorial Emergency Department. My wife was sent home without any meds, and the diagnosis was fatigue and dehydration. She was burning with fever, and no meds were given!!!!

Not surprisingly, she collapsed while she was recuperating in the house. I rushed her to St. Francis, where I learned that she had sepsis and was very close to death.

Thanks to the excellent care, my wife is alive and at her baseline. Thanks to this experience, I would like to maintain a safe distance from Johnson Memorial Hospital.
