We have nothing but praises for the team of wonderful doctors and the nursing staff at this outstanding hospital. We were visiting Iowa on a business visit when fate intervened, and my wife ended up getting injured. We were sent to this hospital and received the best possible care that could be offered then. We were treated as humans, and every single person was genuinely interested in seeing my wife get well. Thank you, everyone

I can't imagine that I visited this garbage dump for getting myself treated. Won’t step in ever again. One of the worst hospital experiences that a person one could have. Dealing with an angry neighbor is much easier than getting seen by doctors and nurses who do not have the time and courtesy even to greet you and inquire about your health while in the room. Complete disregard for patient privacy and patient rights; only interested in fleecing money from patients for the poor quality of care rendered.

My father in law visited the ILH ER a few days back for an X-ray after a slip-and-fall. Every one whom he interacted with was amazing! The wait time was very negligible. The tech was also an excellent professional and adjusted the x-ray without compromising on quality when my father in law had issues with lying still due to pain. Thank you for taking good care of my father in law. He does not get pleased quickly, but he was singing paeans of this hospital once he returned from the hospital

These folks are very professional and know how to get things done. We were supposed to leave for Belgium for a vacation on May 15, 2019. My wife fell ill on 14th evening, and we rushed to the ER. The nurses took her in quickly, and the doctor was in the room within a matter of minutes. She evaluated her and was able to diagnose her ailment. She was treated quickly, and we got a go-ahead to continue our trip. We came back yesterday night, and my wife did not have any recurrence of her problem during our trip. It was an amazing hospital experience. We will not hesitate to visit this hospital for any medical problem.

The ER nurse who was with me was a lovely lady and compassionate, caring, and very knowledgeable. That was the only good thing during my visit to the ER. The doctor was at the other end of the nurse’s behavior. He was snappy and very grumpy. It seemed that somebody had threatened him to come to the hospital. He did not seem to be very interested in treating me. He came, saw the chart and diagnosed me with chest congestion…without even evaluating me or hearing to the chest sounds. He gave me a script for medicines to relieve chest congestion.

I went to another hospital where the doctor diagnosed me with pneumonia and started appropriate treatment. I won’t visit ILH ever again.
