My first at this hospital and I am pretty impressed. I visited Huntington Hospital along with a friend who met with an accident at work. I have to say this must be the cleanest hospital I have visited so far, and have been to quite a few. The seating area in the ER is arranged in such a way that it lends a sort of privacy to the waiting members. The tall windows help people to relax while looking out of the window. The staff also has decency and humanity. While waiting in the ER waiting room, every staff member who passed by us greeted us with a smile, a genuine smile. They were very friendly. Coming to my friend, he was taken in pretty quickly and got a room which had a private bathroom. The room looked spotless and smelled clean if you can get what I am trying to say. The waiting areas were also nicely decorated.

I work in the healthcare field, and the facilities and the staff at Huntington Hospital have left me highly impressed.

Been to Huntington twice for different surgeries and both the time, the entire process went off smoothly, thanks to the wonderful medical team. I did face some issues with a nurse during the second surgery while in the post-op, but that issue resolved very quickly. I even got a call from the senior management of the hospital regarding the issue, and they issued an apology, something unexpected. I had not seen that nurse around in that hospital when I went for a follow-up. Though the incident left a bad taste in the mouth, the prompt action by the management saved the day. I would happily recommend this hospital to all

TERRIBLE! The on-call doctor does not think it is necessary to get an x-ray and a neck collar after one suffers a whiplash injury.

I was involved in a tail-end collision, and I went to the hospital to get a checkup to make sure everything was okay. I was seen in by a lovely nurse, and the on-call doctor saw me pretty quickly. However, what happened afterward absolutely soured what was turning out to be a great visit. When he came in, I was calling my husband and telling him what happened and that I would not be in a condition to drive. This convinced him that my neck was okay, never mind the severe pain that I was having in the neck. He did not order any x-rays and gave me a very mild painkiller. I pleaded with them to at least give me some strong painkillers, but he said we do not do such things. He then walked off. I had to seek treatment at another hospital where they not only did an x-day but also kept me overnight for observation. I would never return to Huntington.

Huntington Hospital always impresses me whenever I go there. The front desk is handled by a wonderful team who has empathy for patients. The ER is also very quick, and I have never had to wait for more than an hour in the ER. The only time I had to wait for more than an hour was when there was an accident, and three patients were brought in a very critical condition.

The nurses and the on-call doctors whom I have interacted with are very professional, caring, and empathetic. I would recommend this hospital to everyone
