These people saved my life. I was involved in an accident and was not conscious when they extricated me from the mangled pile. The ambulance rushed me here, and I was immediately attended to by the ER staff. They were calm and composed and cleaned me first before preparing me for surgery. The surgery went well, and I was out of a coma in two days. Excellent care. Wondering how I can recall these things….my wife was with me all the time. She also said that there was never a deficiency in service during my entire stay of 25 days in this hospital.

Thankful to all those who saved my life and took great care of me. God Bless

The entire staff in this hospital are awesome with a capital A. I work as a volunteer for Ms. Diane Cosmetic Recovery House of Houston, and I pick up patients after they undergo cosmetic surgery here. Everyone is great, but the nurses in recovery are excellent. I have always seen them smiling and exchanging greetings whenever they see me, and they are consistent with it. They are also very friendly with the patients. The care offered is also on par with some of the best hospitals in the world.

Man!!! How long should one wait before seeing a doctor in a near-deserted ER…it can range between an hour to two to three based on the number of patients and the emergencies, right? Wrong, if you are in Houston Northwest Medical Center. I had to wait here for nearly six hours before being seen by a nurse. They took my vitals only after I spent five hours in the ER waiting room. A lady beside me waited for nearly four hours with a swollen and weeping leg before she called it quits. When my vitals were being taken, I asked the nurse reasons for the delay. She was pretty cool about it. She said this is normal here. She tried to be very friendly and reassure me. However, I have made up my mind that this will be my first and last visit here. BTW went there for breathing issues, got nothing for that. NEVER AGAIN!
