BEWARE! DO NOT VISIT THIS HOSPITAL!!!

For the past eight months, I have been behind their back to rectify an inaccurate bill. I do not have the count of people whom I have talked with and explained everything in detail. Whomever I spoke to said they were “horrified” by the highly inaccurate bill and promised to resolve it “ASAP.” Well, this charade has been going on for so long that I have lost hope and trust of these people. Thanks to the stupidity of the hospital, I have now a credit agency behind my back. My hospital experience at this hospital was great, but the highly inaccurate bill has left a bad taste. My husband called up the hospital one last time last week and told them bluntly that if action is not taken in a week, we are mulling legal options.

I would suggest everybody reading this review to consider either Banner or Dignity for treatment. I am also planning to switch care!

I had an outstanding “hospital” experience. The ER staff – doctors, nurses, and entire support staff were outstanding. The ER was full, and patients were spilling out of the waiting room, but the ER team handled everything excellently. The nurses were calm and composed and worked like a well-oiled machine. They ensured that while everybody was seen in quickly, they also had time to discuss their illness with the doctor. I was seen by a wonderful doctor named Dr. Karen, who despite it being a busy day, was able to talk and make an accurate diagnosis. I was ordered a blood test, and the doctor did not make me wait endlessly for seeing the result and make a diagnosis. Thank you, everyone, for taking such excellent care of me. Highly appreciate it

AMAZING!

The aptest word that describes my experience at this hospital. I had come in with a deep cut on my face after having a bad bike accident. I was taken to the ER, and within a matter of seconds, I was taken to the room where a wonderful doctor looked at my injuries and decided that it needed several stitches. Once I was stitched up, the doctor also told me to come for follow-up as well as talked about different techniques which can be used for reducing the scar. Heartfelt gratitude to the entire ER team for taking excellent care of me. The team is highly knowledgeable and extremely professional and know how to handle a complicated and delicate situation in a better way

I had surgery at Shea Medical Center in January 2019. The surgery went off well, and I do not have any complaints with the medical part of my visit. My biggest headache right now is the numerous "surprise" bills that I am receiving from the support team which assisted the medical center with the surgery. This excludes anesthesia and anesthesiologist. This “surprise” was totally unexpected and has left a huge hole in my pocket. I am coming from Washington DC, and there the hospitals do not give such surprises. It is a common thing here it seems. When I called the hospital about it, they washed their hands off and said I had to deal with it. If I had known beforehand, I would certainly not have visited this hospital and sought care. Lesson well learned!!!! I am warning all my friends and family members to avoid this hospital.

An unexpected and stressful visit to the ER turned out to be an excellent one. I had to visit this hospital after I started feeling unwell and had bouts of vomiting. I was in bad shape when my wife drove me to the ER. The front desk was super nice and treated me with respect. We were sent to the ER in a jiffy and ER team took me in and back in a matter of seconds. The on-call doctor was very patient and heard me out completely and then ordered IV and an overnight stay. The next morning she came and saw me and discharged me. The doctor and nurses were very informative and had the patience and time to answer all my questions.
