Quick yet very efficient care!!!

I was here after my daughter had her first fall from her bicycle. She ended up with a deep gash on her head and was bleeding profusely. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional care that we received here.

Rexxie was checked in quickly. She had to wait for hardly 15 minutes before the doctor saw her. The wound was stapled. A tetanus shot was given, and x-rays are taken. Three hours later, we were enjoying ice cream at a local creamery. Very happy with the way things went. Thanks, folks, for taking excellent care of my munchkin. Thanks

I was royally screwed up after I visited this ER. The care was average and nothing worth writing about. However, what pissed me off was the bill. These guys sure know how to get more from your pocket.

After a five minute evaluation in the ER, I was handed over a bill of $327. This was for the hospital. I was given a separate $300 bill on behalf of the doctor. SO, for a five-minute evaluation, I ended up paying $627…nearly $125 per minute. I would not have had any issue if there were any tests, scans or even better interaction with the doctor. All that the fellow did was come, see the chart, asked oft-repeated questions, and walk off.

I asked them if I would get any other bill. I was given a sheepish smile and a faint and almost inaudible, “No.” I called the contracting agency for the doctors regarding this, and all I got was that I should have known earlier.

I love this hospital. This is the hospital to visit if you want to deliver a child. My wife has delivered our three kids here, and each time, it was a wonderful experience. They ensure that the labor and delivery and the postnatal care was up to the mark.

My family and I have also visited the Emergency Department, and it was also a wonderful experience. Yes, there were bad experiences a few times, but then the good experiences far outweigh the bad experiences. The ER staff is very kind. They are always attentive to our needs. They always make sure that we are comfortable and do whatever is possible to ensure that we get treated well. My family appreciates the kindness and friendliness shown by these wonderful angels

The hospital has changed a lot. The staff has become friendlier and ready to walk that extra mile to help the patient. Even the administration has pulled up its socks.

I had visited the hospital ER and was having some issues with the insurance. The staff stepped in and cleared all my problems and also sorted out things with the insurance.

The ED room and waiting rooms were clean. The care was also many notches higher and to my satisfaction.

This hospital, in yesteryears', was a place of ridicule and people hated coming here. But going by the number of people who are coming to this hospital nowadays, it seems that Hi-Desert Medical Center has finally turned the corner
