When it comes to hospitals, my wife is very paranoid and won’t go in if she is not fully satisfied with the hospital. This also happened when it was time to give birth to our first child. She forced me to visit several hospitals and see first-hand the cleanliness, staff attitude, etc. So after a few days of hospital tours, we ended up selecting Hackensack Pascack Valley Hospital. Wow, we are very glad that we selected this hospital. We had an AMAZING experience here at the maternity wing, thanks due to their staff, and the amenities. Every step of the delivery procedure was great thanks to wonderful and professional nurses who encouraged my wife and guided her through the process. My wife was so impressed by the hospital that she declared if we are having another child and we are out of state, then we would be coming back to LA and get admitted to this beautiful hospital. We did not regret our decision and hope that you also will be satisfied with this hospital.

I am very pleased with Hackensack Pascack Valley Hospital, especially the maternity section. The section is manned by an incredible team of highly professional staff, who ensure that the patient does not get the dreaded birth pangs when delivering their child. My wife gave birth here, and we have nothing but praise for this team. Thank you are treating us well. The review won’t be complete without a word about the food. The food is terrific. Highly recommend this hospital for meeting all your maternity needs.

Warning! This hospital cheats you.

I had visited Hackensack Pascack Valley Hospital ER a few days back for chest palpitations. The treatment was right, and I recovered well enough to be discharged the same day — no issues with it when it comes to treatment. The only problem is billing, and it is a significant issue. From the past two weeks, I have been receiving calls from the billing department about the bill. I explained to them that my insurance has this hospital in its network and apparently covers the procedure. The hospital says that they use another third party group insurance for the ER visits, and won’t be accepting my insurance. I am not sure if the hospital is allowed to do this. I have decided I will fight it out and won’t succumb to their pressure, even if it means getting turned over to collections. Cannot let them get away like this.

Absolutely pathetic and worthless hospital. This shithole mistreated my mother...the doctors were intent on using my mother as a lab rat for their worthless experiments. My mother’s fever was not going down despite the medications. They then suggested a cocktail of drugs which might have put my mother’s life in danger. We vehemently opposed it, but the doctors were insistent that we try the medicine. They even went to the extent of saying that if we did not agree to the medication, they would discharge us. We did a favor to them and decided to leave AMA. They tried everything in their arsenal to stop us from leaving, but in the end, we won. Won't recommend this hospital to anyone for anything

I have visited this hospital twice or thrice and even once went there for an OP procedure. I have never faced any issues with any staff members. The nurses and doctors are very friendly, courteous, helpful, and attentive. Surgical staff during the outpatient procedure were amazing. There was hardly a three-minute waiting time from admission to getting moved to a separate room. The procedure itself went off smoothly. I will be back to this hospital for all my medical needs.
