Got my right knee replaced here in November 2018. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about this place, but since my doctor was here, I decided to go ahead with the surgery. It was a pleasant experience. The nurses, surgeon, anesthesiologist were all great. The entire procedure was explained to me in simple language. I was encouraged to ask questions, and only when I was completely satisfied with the explanation, did they proceed with surgery. The outcome was excellent. Food was palatable. Overall, a good experience. Not perfect, but good

These people made me wait too long just to get a blood work result. The only reason I came here was my PCP who suggested that the entire lab work would be done quickly. The lab work was done quickly, but the wait for the result was inexplicable. I got my result after a wait of nearly four hours. There was nobody else in the lab…cannot fathom this long delay. I had to take another test, and I went to Elmhurst, where I was in and out of the hospital in an hour. The difference was like day and night. I would never come back here.

I had undergone shoulder surgery and a long and painful six months of physical therapy. Thanks to the wonderful team of surgeons, nurses, and physical therapists who toiled very hard to make me fit again. Even when I was a bit down due to an apparent lack of progress, the physiotherapists did not lose hope. They kept on encouraging me. Thanks to them, I have regained complete use of my right hand. I would recommend this wonderful hospital and the exceptional team of physiotherapists to all those who are planning to undergo a joint surgery or replacement
