I had to spend a few days at Good Sam a few months back. I did not face any problems with either the care or the staff or even the food. Yes, it is costly, but then it is made to order, so expect to pay more for the food. The doctors and nurses were very competent and had the patience to explain the illness to me and ways to prevent a recurrence. No complaints here!

There is something really wrong with the nurses at Good Sam in Corvallis. Barring one or two, the rest of them are awful. They are mean, angry, and poorly trained. Politeness and respect to patients is an exception here and not a rule. My son had the misfortune of staying here for a week with misdiagnosed fractures in his hand. The doctor who diagnosed him was also very incompetent. This is the only decent hospital in Corvallis, and sadly, it is least concerned about patient care. As for my son, I took him to another hospital where he is receiving appropriate care from very competent doctors.

This is a very swift ER. The staff and nurses are highly competent and also super fast in their work. Got my fiancé in with a severe stomach ache and they were ready with a diagnosis within 30 minutes. The front desk ran his insurance and got everything approved. We had a scan, and two hours later, we are walking out. Amazing service
