Early in January, a very close friend of mine was rushed to the Adventist ER and later shifted to Oncology unit. Since everything happened so suddenly, naturally, I was incredibly fearful, extremely emotional, and sensitive. I have never witnessed or experienced such comfort, care, and support for the patient from the entire treating staff, and it includes the doctors also. I especially remember Aleks, Patricia, Bianca, Mussa, and Pari truly giving Rachel the best comfort and support. With smiles and kindness all around, the team helped both of us cope with the most difficult time of our lives.

This review would be incomplete if I did not say anything about Dr. Narine Arutyounian (hope the spelling is right). We have nothing but gratitude only for this kind soul. We eventually learned that such caring nature was not specifically for us, but she treated every single patient of hers with such warmth and care. Rather than sympathy, she had empathy for her patients. I have seen radiant smiles on patients when she comes and checks them. I have to admit, she is the most punctual and professional doctor I have come across (even my dad was not so punctual). She deserves all the awards and recognition that are out there, because if she were not there, then Rachel would not have received such warmth, care, and best results.

Nurses and doctors like these are desperately needed in the modern healthcare industry.

Thank you, Adventist!

Glendale Adventist Hospital sucks!!!!!

My father did not receive the appropriate care that he should have got as a patient. Thanks to these nincompoops, my father’s health deteriorated rather than improving. He had come to the hospital on his own, but now I had to use a wheelchair to get him into the car. Cleanliness takes a backseat in this hospital. He suffered a deep cut while he was in the hospital, and was bleeding profusely, but the hospital was least bothered about addressing the cut. The nurses were missing in action, and the less said about the doctor, the better.

The only thing which these fucking shitheads know to do is pump in medications, sometimes even in excess. Patient care SUCKS at this hospital! It seems that the hospital treats elderly patients as easy money makers! Please do a favor to yourself and do not either bring a loved one or get yourself admitted here….

Seeing the many negative reviews for this hospital on various forums, I think I am the lucky one. I have always visited the Adventist ER for any emergencies, and I have nothing but praises for this hospital. The people running the show are highly efficient and super quick. The employees are pleasant, and I have not seen any filth or unsanitary conditions, at least in the ER section. I've been to this urgent care several times. I've never had a disappointing experience. Definitely the go-to hospital for any urgent medical needs. These guys even have an online appointment system, so no need to wait for getting an appointment. Absolute care and outstanding professionalism. Nothing but ultimate respect for this hospital!
