Glen Cove provided the best care to my wife. The incredible staff was attentive, is very capable, and extraordinary. My wife, all of 35, suffered from a stroke which left her partially paralyzed. The Glen Cove Rehab staff helped my wife to progress to a state where she can dream of walking and running again in just a month.

The past one month has been terrible, but the optimistic staff has ensured that we do not, even for a second, lose hope and always tell my wife to think ahead to the day she would have children or even run a Boston Marathon. Not sure how long would it take for her to recover, but one thing is assured – she is in very capable hands.

An A+ experience!

My mother had her breast implant replacement at Glen Cove Hospital two months back. Her and our experience at this place can be summed in one word – WOW!!!!

The care and expertise provided to her were outstanding. The compassionate and efficient staff made sure that my mother did not face problem both physically and mentally. We are happy to know that she was in good hands.

They made her feel special at this place. No praise is enough. Wonderful.....

The nurses and doctors at this place know how to provide excellent care. I was having spiking fever, and some tests run by other hospitals did not show anything. I visited the ER, was seen in quickly, and was taken back to room within a reasonable time. The doctor was beside me very quickly and gave a patient hearing and asked if I had any problem in giving consent to one or two tests. I said no.

The tests are done, and the source of my infection is found, appropriate treatment is started, and my fever is on its way out

Disgusting!!!! Never thought we could face this situation here!!

My grandmother has been admitted here for the past two weeks. The doctors have run every possible test they could, including a spinal tap, and they still have not figured out her problem. All that they say is, “Have faith, we are checking and will have success soon.” The distressing part is that there is no communication between the nurses and doctors as well as with us. We are in the dark about her actual status. We have decided to wait for two more days and then plan to get her admitted to another hospital, possibly Johns Hopkins.

Received exceptional care while I underwent two major surgeries at this hospital. Both were conducted with hardly a 10-day gap. I was exhausted after the first operation and was not too keen on getting the second surgery and was worrying if I might be able to pull through. The nurses were very supportive and went and told the doctors and surgeons about my worries. They came down and talked with me and addressed all my concerns.

They assured that nothing is going to happen to me and I will be able to celebrate Christmas at my house. I decide to go ahead and true to their words, I was celebrating Christmas at my home.

Thank you for hearing and addressing my concerns

Not sure how to review this hospital. The doctors are excellent; however, it does not cloud over the fact that rest all are either average or below average. The nurses and nursing assistants seem to go through the motions and are not bothered if their actions are affecting the patients. Security is also low key, and anybody can come and visit the patients. No questions are asked by either the security of the nurses…

Had my uncle admitted here and despite a stay of three weeks, he did not recover and finally breathed his last few months back. While vacating the room, we found that some costly belongings were missing. Even though we were pissed off, my father was not willing to press further and walked off…Glen Cove, you have lost our family’s business.
