We are a French Hospital Medical Center family. For as long as I can remember, we have been visiting this wonderful hospital. I have even heard that my grandfather (in his old age) used to visit this hospital. In short, even a single member of my family has been to this hospital at least once or twice. I was at this facility a few months back after a hit-and-run. The quality of care which I received from the wonderful team out here was the best. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone who needs a good medical center.

Atrocious!!! Terrible service

That sums up my experience at French Hospital. I was rear-ended at 35 mph and immediately felt a sharp twinge in my neck and back. I came to this hospital but was treated very rudely. As I sat down for my turn, I saw two to three patients a few seats away who were sneezing badly. I pointed it to the nurse who had the audacity to say, it is not her problem if I get infected by the flu. When it came to my turn, I was offered some anti-inflammatories even before they did an x-ray. They might know better than me, but then why not wait for the x-rays. Adding insult to the injury, a PA saw me. When I informed them that I wanted a doctor to see me, the PA very casually informed me that I would have to wait for a long time before he sees me. Are you kidding me?

I was kicking myself for coming to this hospital. I would have received better care at my home

My fiancé was suffering from a severe back spasm and doubling in pain. We rushed to the French Hospital. We drove right into the emergency room entrance. I parked my vehicle, and rushed to get a wheelchair, but got a shock when I was told that they have taxi wheelchairs outside. The staff brings him in really quick. The treatment starts immediately. I park my vehicle and visit him. He is up on his bed, still in pain, but at least much better (took some time to find a parking place and then get to the room). The staff comes near his bed and get the paperwork completed. We stay for four hours and leave after my fiancé feel much better. Never had such a wonderful hospital experience.
