I do not care a damn about the negative reviews that I come across various forums about this hospital. People have a right to voice an opinion. For me, this hospital is the best because it is the best ER hospital in these parts of woods. I visited the hospital after suffering from right-sided abdominal pain. I was worried it might be appendicitis. The ER doctor took his time, pressed the affected area, ordered a blood test which came back negative for appendicitis. It was a muscle pull. I was out of the ER within two hours…

My husband had to be rushed to the ER because of uneasiness and breathing difficulties. We were greeted by a wonderful lady who registered us. My husband was triaged, and then the whole thing started going down. We had to wait for nearly three hours even when there were hardly a few people. After waiting for nearly three hours, the triage nurse comes and asks my husband whether he needed a Hepatitis or HIV test. We had to remind her that he had breathing difficulties. After she went, the ER nurse comes and tells my husband very curtly to get undressed, wear the hospital gown, and go and lie on the bed.

When I get up to help him, she asks me to sit down. Somehow, he wears the gown. The doctor comes, checks him and orders an IV. He was diagnosed having an acute panic attack and was looking dehydrated. The nurses who came to set the IV up did not know how to set it up and ended up poking his arm twice or thrice. Finally, they were successful. Once it was time for discharge, the nurse comes, nearly rips out the IV and throws it on the bed and walks off. It gave us a feeling that she was least bothered about hygiene and wanted to be kicked out. Fort Washington was one of the best hospitals in this area, but sadly is slowly going to dogs!

A great facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They greet you with a smile, and that smile is all pervasive. Everyone I interacted with had a smile and greeted me very warmly. The staff was ever-ready to help me. I met with a car accident and was brought via ambulance. I was taken in quickly and attended to very quickly. My small bruises were cleaned. The on-duty doctor ordered a CT of my neck as he was worried about a fracture. Luckily, it was just a bone contusion. Once given all clear, they even booked an Uber for me. I would not like to return anytime soon, but going with a good feeling that there is a hospital which treats its patients humanely
