Forsyth has such a horrible ER that it should be renamed as “forever waiting room”. I went in to this hospital with severe pain in my right ear and they made me wait for 3 hours without even taking my vitals. I kinda took a small nap in between. When I woke up, I saw that almost 3 hours had passed and still there was no sign of someone giving me a treatment or medications.

I then went up to the lady over there and asked her how much longer would it take and I was taken aback by her answer – 7 hours minimum it seems!

I mean how ridiculous could that be. That is almost the whole day. I left the place and decided to try my luck elsewhere. Thankfully I was attended to immediately in the other place and given proper medications.

Dunno what’s up with all that wait and the fake bills!?

I drove myself to the ER of Forsyth because a bee stung be on my eyelid and apart from being painful, my eye had swollen and I could barely keep it open. I was in dire need of medical attention. I tried rubbing my eyes with some ice and drove to this hospital for treatment.

I was taken in and my blood pressure and weight was checked immediately. That kind of gave me a hope that I would be called back in immediately and soon things would be fine with my eye. But an hour went past and then another and finally I had to get up and ask when I will be taken in or at least be given a basic medical treatment. They asked me to wait for another half an hour and I earnestly did wait for 45 minutes. Finally, I lost my patience and walked out of the place.

But things do not end here. Even though I was not given any sort of treatment here, I received a bill of $200 from these cheats. They did not even move their finger for me and they were shameless enough to send me a bill. I mean how low can people stoop these days.

My son had a severe stomach infection in the middle of the night. He could barely hold himself up and it was quite evident that if I took him to a hospital, he will not be able to wait for long hours before somebody take time out of their busy schedule to attend to him.

So before I decided to take my son there, I did a quick check on their website and it showed 25 minutes of waiting time. I checked the websites of a few other hospitals too and Forsyth had the least waiting time. And that’s the only reason why I chose Forsyth even though I knew my son could get better medical facilities elsewhere. But going there was not a wise decision, I realized later that night when my son had to wait in the car for over 3 hours.

Every time I ask them for an update and when my son will be taken in, the only response I receive is “we will update you in 5 minutes” and that 5 minutes dragged on and on for almost 4 hours. I regret my decision that day because my poor lil one had to be in pain for so long because of me.

I do not recommend that hospital at all. Their wait time is a pain in the ass. Literally!

I was there to visit a friend of mine and even for that they made me wait for like half an hour. While I was waiting, I happened to interact with other people about how the hospital is and how the facilities are over there and I got a shock of my life to hear that it is not just the visitors, they make their emergency patients too wait for hours together before finally giving them some medical treatment.

In the ER, people were in the most pathetic condition I had ever seen. There were those who were puking non-stop and still not being attended to. I was pained to see people suffering like this, that too in a so called good hospital.

Ohh and that day I couldn’t meet my friend as planned because those “punctual” staff made me wait for more than an hour and then I thought it would be a better idea to get back home than wait till I age.

One of my close relatives got admitted here in this hospital that too unexpectedly. The situation was quite tough for all of us because none of us were expecting this to happen. But the nurses at Forsyth reassured us and were very kind and compassionate towards the patient as well as us.

They took care of everything and helped us manage the situation really well. I am also impressed by the medical facilities they offer in this hospital. This hospital and their staff were exactly what we needed during our rough patch.

I have had opposite experiences at this hospital during my visit here twice. Let’s talk about the good one first. I suffered injuries while playing football and I was taken here because we suspected a broken arm. But thank God, there was no such issue at all. I came in and had a wait time of just 5 minutes and was taken inside, given first aid and my triage was completed. I was then immediately seen by a doctor and he prescribed me medication and like that things got over in the wink of an eye.

So the next time when my friend had an emergency, based on my previous good experience here, I decided to rush him to this place. And that day I got to see the flip side of the same hospital. There was such a long wait in the ER and finally after 2 hours, my friend started cursing me for bringing him into this hospital. I tried to pacify him and we waited but it was of no use. Nobody called us in and I went to check if it was because it was a busy day and but it was not. The ER was almost empty with just 5-6 patients in there. I was furious and I didn’t know what was wrong with those people that day!

I tried to keep calm and speak to one of the nurses and what I gathered from that conversation was the medical staff of the hospital was in some kind of cold war with the management. But seriously speaking, this is not the attitude they should have. I don’t know in between all this how much do they actually care for people’s lives.
