This place is so-so... the staff is great and very professional, but it is the small things which made me feel the hospital is “so-so.” First of all, the doctor would not touch my daughter’s hand (had arm pain) without the presence of any family member (good thought, but sometimes it can be a pain in the ass). Once I reached the hospital, the doctor went ahead and examined Jennie’s hand and made an accurate diagnosis. Ordered an x-ray which was done in a jiffy and the report was also made available pretty quickly. There was also a minor issue with insurance, but that also got rectified. All in all, a very good hospital experience that was made somewhat average, by the doctor’s insistence of checking my daughter in the presence of a family member

My review can be put in two parts. Travel to the hospital and then afterward. I nearly sawed off my hand while using a power tool at my home. I called 911, an ambulance came, and the EMT was pretty good and did all the necessary things. However, once I reached the hospital, the experience was entirely different. The ER staff flushed off the dirt from my hand, no thorough cleaning. They temporarily patched it up and put the hand in a so-called cast. They even did not give me any painkillers; asked me to get it from outside pharmacy. Only when I informed them that no pharmacies would be open at this time, did they give me something for the pain. They also failed to inform the hand surgeon about my case despite them promising to do it. The surgeon was nice and saw me quickly…Completely shoddy management!!!

Unfortunately, I had to visit Foothills Hospital a few nights back with high fever and severe headache. The nursing staff was very good and took excellent care of me. I was registered, taken in and seen pretty quickly. The doctor was very professional and ordered some tests which showed I had septicemia and advised admission. I stayed on the floor for four days and experienced wonderful care. The staff was helpful and very attentive. The doctors who attended to me were great and had excellent bedside manners. The food was great. Thanks to the wonderful care, I was up and running within a week.

The staff at Foothills is great. Everything was well synchronized. I reached the hospital at 10:15 AM and by 10:30 I was being triaged. The doctor came in and saw me within 30 minutes, which was pretty quick considering the number of patients in the ER that day. The doctor was great, had excellent bedside manners and most importantly did not make me feel rushed. He even cracked a few jokes, and we had a nice little chat. Before I could realize, my ER visit was completed. While I wish that I do not fall ill again anytime soon, but if I do, then I would surely visit this hospital

I underwent major surgery at Foothills in early February. It was not an easy decision because I had heard some not-so-good reviews about this hospital. But I was in for a pleasant surprise. The staff was not only excellent but also very attentive to my needs and took great care of me. They were knowledgeable and efficient. This was true of all departments, the ER, surgery and the floor where I was shifted after the surgery. I would recommend Foothills Hospital to anyone.
