My wife had visited this hospital sometime back when she was around 24 weeks pregnant. Saying that we are utterly disappointed with the care she received would be an understatement. She went for a check-up, had the vitals done, had labs, heard the child’s heartbeat, and then waited and waited. She was finally seen by a midwife…who did not say anything that my wife did not know. The midwife did not explain the labs that were taken, nor did she take any cervical measurements. Despite repeated questioning, the midwife kept on saying that there is no problem and things would be fine.

Not satisfied, she visited another emergency care and took another lab, which showed that there was some blood in the urine. The doctor asked her to be a bit more careful and asked for repeat labs after two weeks. This was not told to us in the Fitzgibbon Hospital. We promptly shifted our care from Fitzgibbon Hospital.

I did not have any issues when I visited Fitzgibbon Hospital. The nurses and the doctor were very prompt, and the doctor actually heard me out before making a final diagnosis. They did not rush me. Though I spent 10 minutes with the doctor, I felt very satisfied with the care. The staff was much kinder, friendly, and compassionate when compared to some other ER that dot the landscape. I had to be admitted to the ICU and then the floor for a serious ailment, and I did not witness any slackness in the care that I received. The nurses and doctors checked on me frequently and answered all my questions. Not planning to return anytime soon, but in case the need arises would definitely seek care here. Thank you, Fitzgibbon

My husband was suffering for a gnawing ache in the right leg for the past six weeks. We visited several ERs but got no respite. Finally, we were told to visit Fitzgibbon. We came here, and the concerned specialist found out there was a lump in his leg which was not seen clearly on the scans. He ordered surgical removal. The surgery was completed last week, and he has been free from the ache ever since.

I would highly recommend Fitzgibbon ER. The medical staff, as well as the support staff, is very supportive, kind, helpful, and very professional. The ER moves like a machine. I was taken in, was seen by a PA after a reasonable wait time, got an x-ray, and was walking out of the ER under two hours.
