Unbelievable!!!! This place is not fit for even dead animals. The staff is so pathetic. I went there yesterday morning with severe chest pain. Apparently, for the staff, this is not an emergency. These guys made me sit for nearly six hours before I was called back. In between, it was a free for all as many junkies, and other non-medical emergency patients easily sauntered in and were seen by the staff. I did not leave this ER despite this as I was not sure if I would be able to reach the other ER alive. My diagnosis at this place---anxiety attack. I called my wife, and we drove to another ER where they diagnosed with a heart attack, and I spent a few days there.

This place should be shuttered!!!!

I had to rush to the ER after I nearly tore my thumb out following a home improvement accident. The ER took me in very quickly and gave a tetanus shot and ordered an x-ray, which luckily showed no major cracks or breaks. I was quickly shifted to the ambulatory surgery center where the doctors did a pretty amazing job with the thumb. The staff was great and made sure that I was calm before the quick surgery. The wonderful team of doctors and nurses ensured that the whole procedure was completed within a matter of minutes. The same-day surgery center is very beautiful and has huge windows, comfortable waiting rooms, television, and comfortable furniture. Very happy

This is not a bad place. The hospital was good, and the staff excellent. They were very friendly and made sure that my stay at this place was as comfortable as possible. But what got me hooked to this place was the amazing food court. The options present were amazing. Thank God, we never have to go hungry again. The only issue with this hospital is parking. The distance between the parking to the entrance of the hospital is too much if you consider it in purely hospital setting

I had undergone surgery at this hospital on January 18, 2019, and I must say that I have received excellent care. The surgery staff was competent, caring, and patient. In the afternoon, I was shifted to the floor, where I stayed for nearly a week. For my 50 years of age, I have been to numerous hospitals and never have I received such wonderful care. The quality of care at ECMC was outstanding. The PAs, nurses, food service, etc. all were amazing. I would definitely seek care from this place again.

This is an unbelievable hospital. I went to the ER on a weekday and had a question which I needed to clarify. I approached eight to nine nurses with the question but did not get an answer as it was either a change of shifts or not from this floor or another lame excuse. I felt they were completely ignoring me. Finally, I asked a lady who wore a white jacket and had a stethoscope around her (from the looks of it, she was a doctor). She patiently heard me out and then with a smile, says, “I am not from this floor.” Unbelievable. Got pissed off and left without even seeing the doctor.

The hospital seems grossly understaffed. The staff and nurses always seem to be overwhelmed. In fact, they are so bogged down that they do not even have the minimum courtesy of treating patients with respect. This is not a one-off case. This has been a regular feature since the past few years. They are so overwhelmed with work that they do not even have time to answer basic questions. An unfortunate state of affairs.

I have no idea about other departments, so I cannot say anything about them. However, the ER is great, and so are the doctor and nurses who treated me. I had a dog bite and had to be taken to the ER. The staff saw me immediately, and the doctor was beside me in a matter of seconds. I was given appropriate treatment and advised regular follow up. The ECMC staff did an outstanding job. The doctor who handled me said they have seen a lot of dog bite cases of late and mine was not a one-off case. In case, any one of you has a dog bite, then please visit ECMC for appropriate care.
