My opinion about this hospital has undergone a sea change since my first visit about ten years ago. The first impression of this facility was very bad, and some stupid nurses did not help it. However, fate made me visit this hospital several times, and each time my opinion about this hospital went one notch up. Be it the ER or any other services; I was able to see a lot of difference in how the staff was evolving and becoming more courteous and polite. The number of knowledgeable nurses has seen an exponential increase, and so has been the increase in quality of care. The doctors now have time to listen and make a proper diagnosis.

Yes, there would be a few bad apples, but the best thing is that they are in the far minority.

I truly appreciate the increased standards of care. Highly recommended!

A sincere and heartfelt Thank You to the wonderful doctors and nurses who took great care of my grandma. She was critically ill when she came here, and all of us had prepared for the worst. But thanks to the outstanding staff, my grandma is hale and hearty and ready for an umpteenth trip to Europe. These people treated her with the utmost care, respect, and love as if she was their grandmother. Thank you, folks, for everything that you did for her

The nurses, techs, and the doctors working at Englewood Hospital saved my wife’s life. She complained of feeling uneasy, a mild one. We go to the hospital for some other reason, and she tells the doctor about this. The doctor does some digging and then asked her to undergo an MRI scan. What does the MRI show – she had a mild stroke and a minor defect in her heart, which was spotted by the tech. She never felt the so-called signs and symptoms of a stroke.

I asked the doctor what made him ask us to take the MRI. He said that he had a doubt when she talked about the various things and the fatigue etc.

Thanks to the excellent doctor and the tech, my wife’s problem was identified, and prompt treatment was started. The nurses were also very helpful and knowledgeable and explained to my wife what her problem was and how would it be rectified by the treatment regimen, which was prescribed.

Thank You, everyone, for taking excellent care of my wife. Englewood Hospital might be a small hospital, but it is a great hospital

I had a pretty bad experience when I visited Englewood Hospital. I had to rush my 1 YO son after he had 102 fever. The walk-in near my home did not take his insurance. I reached the ER, and my son was seen in a reasonable time. The doctor came, saw him, diagnosed him with a throat infection, and gave medicines. The next day, the fever reached 103, and he was also throwing up. I take him to his pediatrician, and it turns out he has an ear infection, and his throat was okay. Never thought that doctors could make a huge mistake in diagnosing something like this. Won't step in again.

Please avoid this hospital at all costs!!!! They rush you, and for them, the number of patients is more important and not the quality of care. I went there for a fever and body ache and what does the doctor prescribe – OTC Motrin for body ache. What about the fever? Oh!! That would go away on its own.

Guys, if you do not have the time to diagnose properly, please quit this business.

I won’t return. I would prefer driving an hour more and go to a hospital where doctors are competent and can make a proper diagnosis.
