I was scheduled an OP procedure here by my doctor. I went to the hospital on the appointment day. Was greeted by a lovely and very friendly front desk and promptly shown the way to room for completing my registration. Once the formalities were completed, was taken to a room where I was prepped by three individuals who did an excellent job. Preliminary injections etc. were completed in a jiffy. All my concerns were addressed, and the surgery was initiated. Surgery was completed, I was explained all the post-op instructions in clear terms, and final concerns and questions were addressed, and I was on my way to the waiting transportation.

Needless to say, one of the best hospitals in the entire Detroit area. Very happy with my experience here

One can call my family DMC HVSH family. We are regulars here. My daughters were born here and both the times, they took splendid care of my wife and my daughters. Our ER visits always passed off without any problems. Every time we are there, we get treated by a bunch of highly professional and extremely knowledgeable doctors who are ably assisted by a team of amazing nurses.

Coming to the facility, the hospital is spotless; the room is big and extremely accommodating! They also have a nursery here, so one can send your child to the nursery at night, knowing very well that your precious one would be taken care of very well. Highly Recommended.

This review is for the billing department at DMC HVSH. I recently had undergone surgery here, and the bill was within reasonable limits. The only issue was that I did not get an itemized bill. I underwent surgery in January. A week back I get a call from a bill collector stating that I have pending dues and I needed to pay it off very quickly. I called up my health insurance, and they said the concerned bill has already been paid off and there is no need to worry. When the calls did not cease, I called up the hospital where the billing executive had no clue as to what was the actual situation, and he was struggling for answers. I called up the collections and informed them that the bill had been paid off. They were apologetic for the confusion and promised to cross-check and do the necessary. I did not get the same response from the hospital.

It is a shame that the reputation of such a wonderful hospital is being destroyed due to some bumbling idiots in the billing department who have no clue whatsoever of what is happening in other departments.
