Awesome Hospital! I do not mind traveling an extra 30 minutes to visit this hospital. I have a hospital closer home, but I have always preferred DCMH. They are professional and provide excellent service. Their ER is also great. I have never faced any problems here. Highly recommended

Took my 8-year old into the DCMH E.R. in early morning hours after he complained of left earache. The receptionist was a gentle lady who was very helpful. The rest of the staff were also great. The nurse who triaged him was a jovial lady who played with him until the doctor arrived. Rob was taken back to the room after a 20-minute wait. The ER doctor had excellent bedside manners. He found that Rob’s left ear was plugged. The ear was cleaned, and his ear pain vanished. Thank you, everyone, for taking good care of my son. Best experience in an ER. My son was satisfied, and so was I

I visited this ER in hopes of being seen soon after I was involved in a three-car pileup. However, it seemed that a deep gash in the forehead, bruises all over hands, swollen legs do not amount to a trauma case, and I have to wait for my turn. Waited for 25 minutes, could not bear the pain, and left. I visited another ER, where I was provided quick care. Still cannot believe I was not considered as a trauma victim

My in-laws stay in Iron Mountain. While staying there on a vacay, I ended up slipping on a wet surface. I stopped my fall with my hands but felt immediate pain. My wife took me to the nearest ER, which turned out to be Dickinson Country Memorial Hospital ER. The staff was quick, and I was taken in and then back to the room within a matter of seconds. A PA was beside me and advised an x-ray which showed a fracture at the wrist. The ER team put me into a cast, and I was on my way. The whole visit lasted for nearly an hour. Very happy with the care I received at this place
