I visited the Delaware County Memorial Hospital to see my aunt, who had been admitted there for nearly two days. The first thing which I saw upon entering her room was an overflowing trash bin with trash on the floor. I had to call the housekeeping supervisor to get the room cleaned. The supervisor apologized and made sure that the trash was removed in a matter of minutes. Felt very happy that they responded so quickly. When the nurse came, I told her about the trash and asked why the patient’s room was not clean. She admitted it was an oversight and she would ensure that it was not repeated. The doctor who came to check on my aunt was a nice young gentleman. He answered every single question that I threw at him and did so with a smile. Very happy with the treatment my aunt was receiving at the hospital. BTW, no free parking

To all those who complain about this hospital on various forums, I have a very simple challenge. Please visit any major city hospitals at least twice and then come and talk about the services. I bet that once you have visited the hospitals, you would realize that this hospital is as good as it gets. The nurses are wonderful, friendly, caring, and very courteous. The doctors are professional, highly knowledgeable, and would answer questions with a smile. The care which they have provided to my family and me has been great, and we would continue to seek care here. I will also recommend this hospital to everyone who seeks quality care from highly qualified doctors

This was my last visit to this wretched hospital. Will never be back even if this is the only hospital in the world. I had a bike accident and came to the ER to check if everything was fine. The ER doctor came and evaluated me and suggested four-day rest to recover. I asked for a note, and this bugger gave me a note for Saturday and Sunday (the accident happened on Friday night). I told him that I do not work on weekends and need a note for two working days. The ER doctor would have none of it and suggested that I visit my GP for the note. Cannot believe that I sought care with this buffoon.
