This hospital has an extremely long waiting time. I had brought my child for a psych evaluation. While the blood and urine tests got quickly completed, the actual psych evaluation took a bloody long time. I had to wait for nearly three hours before we could be seen. While everyone was very helpful and accommodating, my child had trouble waiting for such a long time. If the wait time could be cut, then it would be great.

Any ER would have a waiting time which is highly understandable since they deal with emergencies. However, what is not acceptable is bad bedside manners. I was in the ER for an emergency and had the misfortune of being under the care of Dr. Everett. I was not able to follow even a single thing which he said. He was in a hurry; it seemed. The nurse was of more help and actually helped us to understand everything.

I would like to thank every single individual who was involved in my care right from when I got admitted to the hospital till the last day. Thanks to entire staff – nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, everyone. All of you were great.

Decatur Morgan General Hospital employs some incredible idiots. They are not ready to get out of their comfort zone to help their patients. I had visited the hospital ER on a Friday evening with an EXCRUCIATING pain in the left leg after a fall. However, the doctor just did not check me at all. He just wrote a script for painkillers and anti-inflammatories. Well, Saturday morning, the pain became extremely unbearable, and I had to visit another hospital when the doctor asked me to undergo a scan which revealed THREE BLOOD CLOTS!!!!!! I would never go back to Decatur Morgan again.

Great hospital experience. The on-call doctor came and saw me almost immediately. I had come through Emergency Room and must say that everyone was extremely professional and had some wonderful bedside manners. The nurses and the doctors were excellent communicators, and they always kept my family in the loop. I never felt I was a burden on them during the five days that I had spent in this hospital. Appreciate Decatur Morgan General Hospital for employing such wonderful team members. The hospital is great thanks to them. Heartfelt Appreciation.
