My wife and I had a bizarre experience while we were visiting the Dallas Regional Medical Center. Jennie was taken in quickly, and after a reasonable wait time, was taken back to the room where she received got care. She was admitted for further observation.

Our problems started from here. She was admitted to a room that might not have been in use. The nurse had to get janitorial services to clean the whole floor, change the bedding and the sheets, as well as get the bathroom functioning. The best part---there was no phone in the room which resulted in the nurses running around like headless chickens.

Could not believe that a facility of the repute of DRMC was simply not ready to provide appropriate patient care in terms of facilities. Made a huge dent in the trust that I had with these fellas!!!!

The sanitation conditions at this place SUCK. The ER floor was unhygienic and seemed to have last seen the face of the mop eons ago. There were body fluids as well as dried blood on the floor.

The room was also not something to be proud of. My husband decided to use the bathroom, but according to him, it was a party out there…we had a hot shower after we came back home to avoid any hospital infections. The staff was super friendly, but that does not hide the unsanitary conditions of this place!!!!

I was under the care of some of the brightest nurses and doctors when I was admitted here for pneumonia. The nursing staff and the doctors were absolute gems. They were very professional. Very friendly. The doctors regularly updated my husband and me about my status. On the day of discharge, the doctor came down and spent an hour with us telling us about the various do’s and don’t’s. This was a first for us.

Pleased with the way I was treated at this place

Had to bring my husband here after his blood pressure shot up alarmingly, and he was feeling disoriented. The ER team took over even before I was able to fill the paperwork. The incredible team stabilized him and then admitted him for further observation. Once the doctors felt things were under control and there was no further spike, we were given all-clear for discharge. Max could not have had any better treatment. Thank you….

I was admitted here for a week and received exceptional care. The doctor and the nurses were beautiful human beings. They were empathetic and treated me as a human being. They were attentive to my every single need and made sure that I was comfortable during my stay here. Thanks to the outstanding care, I was able to get back to my baseline very quickly…
