I will say at the very outset that this review is for the outpatient therapy department and not for the entire hospital. I have been to the Cullman Regional Medical Center’s outpatient therapy department for my therapy, and I would not hesitate to say that the department rocks!!! I have received excellent care during the times I have been there. The therapists are very caring and do not make you feel rushed. Your needs are the priority for the wonderful therapists. They have certainly made me feel “at home.” Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful care!

My brother was visiting me when he suddenly suffered a mini-stroke. We rushed him to CRMC emergency room from where he was transferred to the floor. The team took good care of my brother’s medical needs. They were nice, very professional, well trained and knew what they were doing. They conducted all the necessary tests without any undue delay or haste, even checking out and getting insurance approved while he was undergoing the treatment process. All these wonderful acts made a big difference and played a vital role in his quick recovery. The entire medical team was very thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to everyone for all their healthcare needs.

I had developed a swelling in my right hand and had been visiting various specialists and hospitals to treat it. However, I was left disappointed after every visit. I thought I would try my luck at Cullman Regional Medical Center. I have to say that my luck finally shone one me when I visited the CRMC. The therapist at CRMC was very knowledgeable. She explained to me in detail what the actual problem was, treated it, and also taught me steps to prevent it from occurring in the future. I was highly impressed with CRMC’s professional service.

Recommend this wonderful hospital to everyone in Cullman.

My mother had suffered a bout of seizure and was rushed to the Cullman Regional Medical Center ER. This was her first ER experience and was very scared. We came around 8:00 pm. After an hour, the ER doc saunters in and in two seconds declares that my mother does not have seizures. According to him, it is just an "anxiety attack" and proceeds to discharge her. The shithead does not have the courtesy to ask about any epileptic history either of my mother or our family. The idiot also did not see the blood which was trickling from my mother’s mouth due to tongue biting during the convulsions. I am not sure how this idiot even graduated and became a doctor. Travel to either Huntsville or Birmingham if you have any family emergency. I took my mother to Huntsville and thanks to the wonderful doctors; my mother is fine now. I do not recommend this piece of garbage to anyone.

I had visited Cullman Regional Medical Center for an outpatient physical therapy after surgery to repair my leg injured in a motor vehicle accident. Erin treated me well. She is very nice and outgoing and knows what she is doing.

I recently underwent revision surgery on my right hand and was advised postoperative therapy at CRMC. I agreed to it since I had already undergone a session and was really pleased with them. The occupational therapist Erin Bruke is excellent, and so is the staff and the nurses. They know how to motivate you to reach the prescribed goals. I appreciate Burke as she did not make me feel rushed and took her time while working with me. She also gave me enough tools of encouragement to achieve my therapy goals.

I have never had such an experience in my life. My husband and I were traveling when he suddenly started feeling queasy, short of breath and developed left-sided chest pain. As luck would have it, we were near CRMC, and I decided to take him to the CRMC ER for immediate treatment. A VERY BIG MISTAKE. Everyone in the hospital was rude. They were not serious about my husband’s illness. The ER doctor came around 40 minutes late and started implying that Ric was on drugs and was doing this drama to get some pain medicines.

After getting herself satisfied that Ric was not on drugs, she asked for an IV to be set up. The idiot who came to set up the IV had no idea on how to do it and ended up blowing Ric’s vein. I felt they were rushing him. When I asked the nurse what was wrong with Ric, she coolly says, “I have no idea. See a cardiologist.” Duh!!!! We decided to leave AMA and went to a nearby hospital where they diagnosed that Ric had suffered a heart attack and started immediate treatment.

AVOID THIS HOSPITAL!

Like Cullman Regional Medical Center, especially the therapy department. The hospital is very spic and span. The team out there is very professional, very caring and very friendly. For them, the patient is a priority, and their main aim is to get you better. I have visited the hospital quite a few times for different reasons, and I have never found any reason to return disappointed.

I hate this hospital for various reasons. However, the main reason is the fact that these guys just do not have time for its patients. You are made to feel as if your presence is a hindrance to their activities. I just do not understand what keeps them so busy. I have visited the hospital a few times and every time saw only a handful of patients. The occupational therapy department is the only saving grace about CRMC.

I do not care about what others say, but for my family and me, CRMC is the best. We are regulars at this hospital and get all our healthcare needs addressed here. What we like about CRMC is the fact that we are always treated warmly and never felt rushed. The staff and nurses are friendly, ever smiling and the doctors are very knowledgeable. Each knows his/her job and is in sync with each other. Thanks to these wonderful people, we have never felt out of place at this wonderful hospital.

Long waits are the hallmark of this hospital; especially women’s care. It does not matter if you come 15 minutes earlier or if you come 30 minutes earlier, or even an hour earlier, you would still be waiting. The story repeats itself every time. The only saving grace is the very friendly receptionists and the lovely nurses who make sure that you do not have any issues during the waiting time.

I have heard horror stories about CRMC but have not faced it till now, and I sincerely pray that it remains that way.

I have been to CRMC ER maybe twice or thrice, and every single time, I have received good care. When one complains about waiting in a deserted ER for a long time, they have to understand that even if there is only one person who was in before you, they also deserve the care and treatment that you expect yourself to get. Every single time I visited CRMC, they have treated me with care and affection. I would not hesitate to recommend this center to everyone.

My wife had suffered a bout of gastroenteritis and had to be rushed to CRMC ER. I was a bit hesitant initially since I have heard stories about the hospital, but CRMC was a pleasant surprise to me. I do not think I have come across such a wonderful team of doctors and nurses. My wife ended up in the ICU and then was shifted to the floor. The nurses and aides took very good care of her. They made sure that I was always kept in the loop when it concerned her health. After receiving such wonderful care, I would not hesitate to take any of my family members back to Cullman Regional Medical Center.
