A double thumbs up to one of the wonderful hospital in the Macon area. I simply love this hospital. My God, they have a huge complex that is filled with medical buildings. I did not find anything that would have made me feel sad after being to the hospital. The staff is very professional and courteous. Their waiting area and lobbies are something to die for. I do not think that we would find spa-like waiting areas in any hospital. I was taken aback by the comfort. I have been here thrice during the last few months for myself and my family and friends. My experience during all the three visits was excellent. I think what clinched the deal was the free parking! Now, who wants to pay for parking when you are rushing people to ER or visiting some specialists…I do not like it, and I know a majority of people are like me…..

This is one helluva place. You need not run around trying to find different departments. I had an outpatient procedure here – colonoscopy to be precise – last month. The procedure went off smoothly thanks to a very lovely, excellent, highly professional, and knowledgeable staff who are also polite and very caring.

Caring for patients with a smile – this is how I would like to describe the hospital

Not sure about others, but I had a very terrible experience at this hospital. I was there for my delivery. The staff before delivery were great and took very good care of me. But after delivery, everything changed. The staff who was smiling and very helpful abandoned me just like that. This was my first delivery, and I needed help, but it was not forthcoming. I could not get a photo because the picture staff was never available. They performed tests on my child without informing me and never gave me the results. I felt very uncomfortable at this place. There were also instances where the nurses took my baby out for long periods and at times when she should have been with me. They also delayed my discharge. My husband had to call them twice or thrice for the papers. They had the gumption to tell us not to bother them, and the papers are with the pediatrician. Very unsatisfied. I will not recommend this hospital to anyone.

I was admitted to Coliseum way back in 2015 after my urologist asked me to undergo a medical procedure. The procedure went off pretty well, and I was out of the building the next day. During my stay, I never faced any issues with the staff. Every single person was excellent, and that included the housekeeping staff also. The best care I could have ever received. With God's grace, I have never needed to revisit any hospital, but if the need arises, then my preferred hospital is Coliseum Medical Center!
