Christus St. Frances is the best hospital in the entire state of Louisiana. I had visited this hospital after my PCP asked me to get a specialist opinion for my heart issues. There were no issues with getting the appointment of the specialist. Went to meet the doctor on D-Day, was seen in very quickly. Fully satisfied with the visit. A special thanks to the excellent staff who ensured that my visit was a good one. The doctor was also wonderful and answered all the questions without any hesitation. A refreshingly superb hospital

Drive a little further and go to another hospital if you want to survive and save your hard-earned money.

This hospital is a joke. I would even say this is a black spot on the state. The staff is insulting, untrained, incourteous, and highly unprofessional. They do not show the complete picture when you are getting admitted…I wonder if it can be called withholding information. Once you get admitted and have no chance of getting out...they drop all the bombs at once. My husband fears needles. He had to undergo a spinal tap, and we had informed his condition earlier and requested that I stay with him. They understood and agreed to it, but when it was time for the tap, they sent me away, citing “risk of infection.”

When he was recovering from the tap, a nurse came and asked personal questions which had no relation to the procedure. After we answered all the questions, a new set of nurses come and asked us questions based on the answer we gave to the first staff. That idiot had also put completely wrong information on the sheet. We were praying to get discharged quickly and that day came after two days. We would never step into this hospital again — worst hospital.

This review is for a particular NP who is a gem. I am talking about NP Jeremy Wiley (he has an unbelievable photographic memory. Has all the details of the patient literally on his fingertips). He treated me well. The staff was also wonderful and ensured that my visit was a successful one. I am completely in awe of NP Jeremy and have planned to visit him only if I visit this hospital. Least bothered about what others say about the staff…mine was the best and has won me over.
