Had cryoablation here. Absolutely fantastic experience. The operating room is laced with modern equipment which does an excellent job at handling complex procedures. Very impressed. Very comforting. I stayed overnight after the procedure and received the best care of my life. The nursing and support staff was amiable, caring, courteous, and very professional. I did have some discomfort for a few days, but it can be attributed to the complicated invasive procedure. After all, these guys were dealing with my heart. The doctor was very reassuring. He had the patience and courtesy to explain the entire procedure in detail and the benefits of undergoing the procedure. Outstanding!!!

Highly recommended

Dr. Sood rocks…the best doctor that I have come across in my life. He was excellent, explained the entire procedure in detail and encouraged my wife and me to ask questions. He even suggested that I get a second opinion as it might help to highlight some other issues which he might have missed. Never came across a doctor who talks so frankly.

The staff was also amiable and professional. I underwent a successful outpatient procedure two days later. I would recommend Charlton Memorial Hospital to all those who are looking for an outstanding hospital to take care of their heart issues

Call it fate or bad luck or whatever you might want, but my husband had to wait for eternity here. I dropped Rob at this hospital ER and went to run some errands. When I returned six hours later, he was still in the same seat waiting for the doctor. Thankfully, tests were done, but he was still waiting for the doctor. Across the hall, was a gentleman who had come with a toothache a few hours after he came and he had seen the doctor already thrice, and he was on his way home.

I have no idea how does Rob’s doctor look like. But one thing is sure, whether we see the doctor or not, we would be fleeced off our money come what may.

I've not always had pleasant memories after visiting Charlton Memorial Hospital. However, my last visit was exceptional, something which I had not expected. I came in with some weird sensation in my chest and was not feeling too well. The nurse immediately took me in, and a doctor saw me within a matter of minutes. Some tests are ordered which showed I had a heart attack and there was a three-vessel blockage. Surgery is scheduled the next day, which went off successfully.

Thanks to the quick thinking on the part of the ER doctor, I am alive today. By God’s grace and the team at Charlton Memorial Hospital, I am getting better

One can clearly demarcate the hospital into two sections. ER and the rest. The ER is excellent, staffed by some of the best nurses and doctors. The rest, however, is the exact opposite. I had to undergo a CT scan, and I was shocked by the amount of bi****ng that the ladies in the CT room did. They were very slow in performing their duties because their time was spent on talking about others. The nurses and doctors on the floor also did not cover themselves in glory. The billing department was also a big pain in the “you know where.”

Overall, a frustrating and annoying visit. I am not thinking of coming back in case any medical need arises.
