Pathetic!!!! Disgusting!!!

Do not have any other words to describe what my son endured while we were here.

My son had cut himself very badly over the left eyebrow after a fall. We rushed to the ER. Despite it being nearly deserted, my son was taken back to the room only after two hours. The nurses were busy talking with each other and least bothered about the pain that my son was enduring. Even when we were taken back to the room, the care was not up to the mark. The doctor seemed very busy and just rushed with my son’s care. He did not offer any stitches…just cleaned the wound and put skin glue and a bandage over it (which fell even before we were out of the hospital).

Thanks to this idiot, I had to take my son to another hospital where he received appropriate care and a tetanus shot.

Not stepping in again

I had undergone surgery here, and I would be lying if I say that it was good experience. It was an amazing experience. The surgical team was exceptional and went about with their work in a very professional manner. After the surgery, I was transferred to the floor, where again the care was exceptional. The doctor and the nurses were comforting and attentive to my needs. Thanks to them, I was back to my baseline within a fortnight. Thank you!

We were passing through this area when my husband suddenly took ill. We were guided to this hospital by a wonderful police officer who came to help us. The outstanding care started the moment we entered into the hospital. The ER nurses and doctor were knowledgeable and very professional. The doctor ran all the necessary tests and explained them to us. Four hours after we entered the hospital, we were walking out, completely satisfied

Very attentive!!!! The staff made me feel comfortable. They were highly knowledgeable and were ready to think out-of-the-box to determine the cause of my ailment and how to address it. The care I got was exceptional. Due to their sustained efforts, I was back to my baseline in matter of few days. Highly impressed and very appreciative

Which hospital charges its patients more than $5000 for a strep test???

Well, the answer is – Carlsbad Medical Center.

I was here for a strep test. The total time I spent in this hospital was less than an hour. They did not use any so-called “latest equipment.” The strep test was negative.

Adding insult to injury, they even threatened to sue me if I did not pay the bill immediately. I am ready to face any legal challenges but would not pay such an outrageous bill (this did not include the doctor’s fees).

Carlsbad Medical Center is a perfect example of what is ailing our healthcare. Unless hospitals like this are barred, things will not look up for American healthcare
