Horrible place!!!!

I've heard negative things about Buffalo Hospital from others but always attributed it to people not getting results as per their expectations, which might have been set very high. Boy, was I wrong?

I had to avail the services of Buffalo Hospital ER after I became sick and very dehydrated. I went in at 7:00 PM and there was hardly anybody, but it still took them nearly two hours to see me. The doctor saw me and wrote a script for nausea meds and gave me Gatorade. I just took three sips and threw up the whole thing. Their incompetence did not stop….they discharged me without even giving me a saline drip and monitoring my vitals. Thanks to them, I had to visit another hospital where not only was I given a saline drip, but also was admitted for overnight observation.

My wife and I were doing some outdoor work when my wife met with a freak accident. She accidentally cut her fingers. The cut was very deep, and she passed out due to excess blood loss. I did some first aid and rushed her to ER in Buffalo since it was the nearest to our place. I had visited the hospital two years back for an emergency and was pretty impressed with it. I rushed my wife to the ER where she was taken in immediately. She got nine stitches and two units of blood to compensate for the blood loss. The staff was courteous, very professional and thorough. The entire visit lasted for three hours. Highly impressed with the work ethics and the positive attitude of the doctors and staff who treated my wife.

Brought my elderly father in for breathing difficulties. He received excellent care. The on-call doctor saw us immediately. My dad needed overnight admission to rule out recurrence. He was admitted. Everyone was friendly. We are thoroughly satisfied with the overall experience.
